  1. And it's only 80p a litre - if your in Leeds pm me and I'll let you know my supplier so you can get some to it saves a fortune.
  2. I gave it a go once only because there was a bottle in the garage and yes it did make it quieter. The best thing I ever did was run my Landy on biodiesel I not put normal diesel in it for 18 months. Cleaned out tank/pipes and runs soo nice on it.
  3. Looks to be coming on nicely nice one matt
  4. Top offer - would be nice to see pics of that.
  5. Nice discovery that vmach kit, and that carbine barrel is hilarious! Looking forwards to see how it goes.
  6. I heared them for the first time this year on Saturday 2nd of May in swillington, Leeds.
  7. I had a lightening too in 2004 and found it a nice gun. It was a handy ratting gun in a grain store I used to shoot in and found it to be very accurate. Recently thaught about trying another one.
  8. Sounds a great permission enjoy! ferreting in the winter is also a great way to keep numbers down and is a great side line sport in itself. Wish you all the best with your new land.
  9. Landyzone is tops if your into landrovers, and trailer fitters toolbox on YouTube - both superb for info on fixing them.
  10. Had a vixen and a few cubs in the front garden last night I missed it but I'll stick trial cam out to see what It gets. Allthough pests they are still nice to see.
  11. No smoke at all and air filter not bad but going to change it.I've done every thing to it now from fuel lines to filters so thinking main injector pump? That's next thing I'd look at, they not bad to change. You can get a kit to hold your injector pump pulley so you don't have to strip the whole front timing case off to do it.
  12. Hi out of curiosity are you asked to remove mason bees? Best to leave masonary bees alone, they will not hurt you, spray treatments to walls nesting sites largley ineffective. Best action would be to re point failing mortar joints after the best have departed. Keep all bees safe where possible I couldent agree more - I been making mason bee boxs and tubes for last few years and started boxs for others too. You can't beat a beer in front of the boxs and watch them at work!
  13. Great I love masonary bees I got some nesting in paper tubes again this year.

  15. Thanks, glad to hear you found him! What depth do they usually work to? 16 foot. They are an essential in my opinion ?
  16. I lost one last season and it had a mk3m collar on it and my box could not pick it up and he is my faveroute ferret (blade) I honestly waited 2 days for it searching everywhere with locator and looking. I thaught he was a lost cause until 1 week later I got a phone call from the farmer telling me he found him and fed him and watered him and he will tell me the story when I go pick him up. Honestly - he caught him in a cage trap baited with wheat a few hundred yards from where I lost him 9 days earlier! Very strange and the odds are millions to one lol but it's true. Get a deben mk3m a
  17. Great pics matt - looks a nice place too!
  18. If the last owner changed the lift pump I'd check it's a bearmach or better one on. This is a 1 week old britpart lift pump and gave me the same problem you describe....... The lever bent off the cam so wasn't pumping properly. If it was mine of do lift pump, fuel filter and bypass the sedimentor. Total diy cost around £20-£25 nowt worse than been stuck at side of road. When changing fuel pump prime it by pouring fresh diesel into it all the way to the top - miles easier than priming with lift pump lever.

  20. Some discos have had the sedimenter bypassed. mine hasn't got one fitted as my engine isn't in a disco (disco 200tdi in a 90) so iv never had to look at draining sedimenter. I hear there's a screw to undo on the bottom to drain any water and crap it's caught out.
  21. I'd love a rapid one day when I can afford it. How many shots per fill and what power do you have it running at? Lovely gun! Hi tom. It's running at 32 ft/lb filled to 190 bar. with a shot count of around 48 (4 mags) before the power starts dropping off. I had it running at 18 ft/lb for a good while and it was just as deadly. With the bonus of a higher shot count. Cheers moxy - still a good shot count even at that power level, very nice bit of kit ?

  23. Hi Rez Which one? If you mean the excalibure then yes a raider is very similar. I went to a range last year and asked if a guy with his raider if it was an excalibure (doh!!) when looking closer they where different but very close. Over the years I had most airguns and the excalibure is the benchmark and nothing came close even It was sub 12 for several years and when I got Arron wheelers to turn the power up and put it on fac and at 26.5 ftlbs it is even better. It makes rabbit shooting soo much easier. But now lost touch with sub 12,s go for a raider or a fx2000 they very similar. They are q
