  1. Sounds good! Is the fridge freezer on permenantly? I'm looking at a single 100w pannal so sounds caperble of what we need. It's for weekends away if there's no hookup pitches available and also I like the idea of off grid holidays. Do you run your solar pannal to it's own leasure battery seperate from the lorry battery?
  2. Recently we baught a caravan for weekends away and for fishing trip accommodation and would like to look into solar pannals for it. It would be handy when there's no spots available with hookups and the thaught of been off grid while away is appealing! Iv seen 100w panal kits for around £150 with a charge controler and mounting brackets and was thinking it could be rigged up to a high capacity leasure battery that's allready got a compartment and connections for it in the caravan. Has anyone tried this and how did it go? Also wondering how people attatched their pannals to the roof t
  3. And I take it you do that while its doing backflips and jumping about? The John Wayne of the airgun world... As said each situation is different in that case it would be quickly picked up and despatch end by hand. Either way has it's place and basic common sense tells you which is appropriate at the time.
  4. Each situation is different, I'd rather use a fast follow up shot if the rabbit is near cover or it's warren and edging closer to it. As if it is wounded it may speed up its getaway when it sees you approach and escape before you get to it.
  5. While dairy farming I seen cull cows shot and a spring plug pushed in and out of their head and plugged. The reaction was sometimes as if they where conscious looking round and breathing as normal and after looking after theese cows for some time you really care a lot and I asked questions and it's common that sometimes they react like this but are stone dead. Quite distressing after caring for them and getting to know them. We all get this happen from time to time and I notices especially with young rabbits?? Even hit in the head with fac airgun sometimes it's like that and I remind myself wh

  10. Cheers I only go once or twice a year and thaught they looked good? Last year I fished nymphs and caught a chub! My brother fished a large red and silver heavy wet fly and caught plenty of trout.

  12. Yes really I'm a bit oldschool with my PCP,s always had falcon fn and rws excalibure for 10 years so out of touch on theese - Is it a fancy bsa r10?
  13. After last years trip to the river U R E and speaking to local anglers they reccomended something heavy and visable, or a small white dry fly. Iv looked into the small dry flies and them found theese for the wets...... Epoxy minnows. Iv ordered a few and I'll try them in next few months when I get chance to go there again. Has anyone used theese? I'm not very experienced at this but very curious to hear of anyone useing them and how they did?

  18. Great - any sign of tits nesting in them yet?
  19. Nice to get rid of them, we had one and I waited out for it a few nights but it never showed...until my lurcher caught it and braught it in still alive and in the conservatory and let it go. Didn't go down too well with my girlfriend
  20. Awesome! Iv got my fingers tightly crossed for the blue tits to nest in my camera box again. Your lucky it's great to watch a nest and see them fledge.
  21. Rez you git! You made me want one again, been thinking bout fenmans all day lol.
  22. Looks stunning! I remember salivating over these in airguner magazine years ago, it cost me nearly a weeks pocket money just to buy the magazine and was reviewed by terry doe if I remember rightly? That's a beauty and a bargain!
  23. I get them bad too when I do loads of hours at work for a few weeks without a rest and get run down. My faveroute remedy is lick your finger and put a pile of salt on it (dry) then use it as an abrasive on the ulcer and brush it hard. Then it's neat tcp on a pice of tissue held on it for a minutiae or two. It sounds a bit painful and it is for the first minute when rubbing them with dry salt but it honestly works wonders for me and the pain goes away fast. Even big ones on the cheek/gum line that stop me eating properly go with this treatment!
  24. Top lad! when I was young the older shooters loved a keen young lad and the more respect I had for them the more they gave me. Then it's more likely they take you under their wing and taken out with them - then you learn more. The best thing that ever happened in my shooting career!
