No warrant. No worries.

If you're being strong-armed into controlling hares could you argue that you don't have the relevant game license? Might be worth a shot if you are disinclined to tackle Lepus, on moral grounds. EDIT: I agree with a closed season on them.

As was mentioned on another thread, in the not too distant past. We scoff at the treatment of primitive cultures, saying tough shit, well will we all be happy little aboriginals living on our reservations? I'd say lock and load, only we're not allowed to. Better get over to the catty thread.

I think they would have to join the EU to keep the social programs moving. That's more tax for the average Scotsman. There will be alternatives but not until the black stuff is all but gone. They're not going to sit on trillions of £'s in revenue and allow clean renewable energy. It's a ruse. Divide and conquer. It's easier for the European overlords to control two small, independent, countries than one larger more powerful one. Look at some of the old Soviet republics...

Fair point but they'll be rusty and broken!

You have to get them in the brain. A sub 12 would work if you shot them in the eye... How many tins of pellets do you have? How quickly can you reload? How many walkers? Anything that goes bang will give away the position too, but fair comment on the foraging. Social purposes I'd go with a Glock 17. It's half the price and the extra money could be spent on ammo and double stack, 33 round magazines. Overkill is a very underrated strategy! In Britain? You'd be better off spending time in the catty forum. You'd be better armed than the police and with all the shitty milk

This has to be funded by the EU. Destabilize the UK so that they lose their power in Strasbourg? Or is it because more countries, require more representatives? Meaning they get more money to fund them from you, and me? The cycle of public funding continues!

Ban it. Right the way across the board. These veils are a symbol of oppression, nothing more. Most religions ask that women dress modestly. This is all about the personal interpretation of what modesty is. If you have to read an old book, that was written by many people, when the life expectancy was 30, believing it's any way relevant to living in 2013, you're seriously deluded.

I'd be very surprised if he serves the full sentence, and not because they'll let him out early!

They came on here, a few years back, asking for feedback... They didn't like what they heard. Funnily enough they didn't change anything either. R.I.P Midland...

As above... Understandable that they don't want you to use bait but you won't be able to get quick control, without it. Good luck though!
-
If there is a lot of rats trapping will be very labour intensive. It really is a shame you can't bait, because you could become very popular, very quickly! Might be worth trying to source some of the tamper-proof plastic bait boxes. They'll hold the Kness, break back, rat traps. It'll be a lot cheaper than loading up on Fenns and you won't be as pissed when they go walkabout!

Don't wrap anything around the metal. Keep it out of the gun bag when you store it. I store my air rifles in the back of the wardrobe where the air can circulate. I also use Birchwood Casey's Barricade. Wipe the gun down, with some of the solution on a rag, when you've got in from the field. It leaves a sheen on the metal but it does remove all the moisture, and prevents rusting!

If we colonized the moon, what breed/cross would be best for that?
-
The cheapest possible solution would be to find where they're coming in and then block the holes, fix the fence, etc... But then we have no idea how big the garden is, where it's located, etc... You're not going to get an FAC/SGC for shooting foxes in your back garden. Unless you're at Balmoral...

Air Rifle Licensing Debate, Airgun Licensing
ChrisJones replied to Rabbiting man's topic in General Airgun Discussion
That's the bottom line. Follow the money! -
Fair comment but who else knows about it? Oh oh... the whole internet now!
-
Certainly not the forum for fox control... Maybe a move to trapping and snaring?

Air Rifle Licensing Debate, Airgun Licensing
ChrisJones replied to Rabbiting man's topic in General Airgun Discussion
It's a typical government run system. Blinding bureaucracy making more money, for the few. Everyone in the country will be paying for this, one way or another. Pretty much, look how Peees Moogan (deliberately mis-spelled for the search engines) has been using that argument to wind up the Americans. It's about restriction. Making it so difficult that the average person just won't bother in the first place. A stealth ban. When the Brocock system, was being put on ticket, the media worded it as an out and out airgun ban. Poor journalism. Poor wording. The airgun shops were inundated -
Didn't watch the program but the scenario is plausible, enough. Power has to come from somewhere. The infrastructure isn't being updated at the same speed as the demands placed on it. So the lights go out. Along with everything else. Police can't answer a city 999 call, when the power is up and running to begin with. Look at the summer of rioting! The docu-drama suggests a week? Would it be paranoid to have a weeks worth of food, bottled water, and shit tickets? Just in case?

Air Rifle Licensing Debate, Airgun Licensing
ChrisJones replied to Rabbiting man's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Simple fact of the matter is that the UK wants all guns banned, or restricted. Good people don't need laws, to tell them how to behave. Bad people won't follow them, anyway. -
Would you be an English team or a Welsh team though? Barbarians Vs Scotland? Gnash, I can start at No 3... I'll bust their loosehead's sternum so you, Socks, and TOMO can make them look like Scottish internationals!

Badger Controlling Within The Guideliness Of The Cull ??
ChrisJones replied to Wxm's topic in General Talk
This quote, from the article, really made me smile! "I am not sure how many protesters there are on the ground in Somerset, but it feels like very few. Their online support is very large, but then, it's easy to be an online supporter." -
Anshcutz Or Ruger 10/22 ?
ChrisJones replied to Tornado1979's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
10/22... I've had mine since 2008. I couldn't praise it highly enough. They're the world's top semi .22LR for a reason.
