That sounds like the film Signs! I don't doubt that weird shit happens. I've experienced some that I just cannot explain myself. But ghosts...

I watch the MLS every week, because I'm too tight to pay Rupert Murdoch for the Premier League! I like it. It's like watching Div 1 in the 80's. I still don't think they'll evolve far enough in my lifetime. Not against the countries that take the sport far more seriously. They have a cohesive team. Something England has lacked for years, but at that level simple team spirit isn't going to cut it on it's own. They want to be global players but seriously... watch a couple of MLS games and you'll see the differing standards. Little acorns indeed but can you grow a solid oak before I d

Actually I do. I want to know if there is any facts behind this stuff. I've seen them used and it's waste of time, TBH.

Maybe one day mate....but i still dont think it will happen any time soon what to us is the biggest event in sport is still way down their list. http://listosaur.com/sports/top-10-most-watched-sporting-events-on-us-television/ Since that list was printed they've been watching more footy... In the last world cup, when they drew 2 - 2 with Portugal, they did it with 25m viewers on two channels. The MLS averages around 20,000 fans a game, 4000 more than the English Div 1. It's popularity has overtaken hockey and basketball. It ain't the premier league but it's entertaining eno

I think every house around here has one! Almost like they're issued with them! Widespread demonic possession hasn't happened... Unless of course it's the greatest trick the devil ever pulled...

Sepp's done... f***ing cockroach...

Ouija boards?! Evidence of demonic possession? Or evidence of the ideomotor effect? I try to remain open minded but I'd really like to see some evidence.

Within moments of the Game Of Thrones thread, going up, I got a phone call from a mate. Topic briefly got around to GoT, and whether I'd watched it. My mate said he enjoyed it so much that if he could pick a TV to be trapped in for a month he'd pick that one. Question is, if you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which one would you pick? Personally I'd pick Longmire because it's the only show I've watched since Breaking Bad, and meth labs aren't my thing!
-
Yeah? I got rid of satellite telly a couple of years ago. I can only watch Netflix and the local stations, not that I watch much. Last two tv shows I've watched were Breaking Bad, and Longmire.

Never seen it. Don't even know what it's about.

I'd consider moving home if they scrapped 21% VAT and 82% Fuel Tax. In the mean time I'll keep the money thanks...

Fair comment DB but I disagree.

I'm not suggesting that everyone does collect benefits but there is a massive focus on immigration and zero on politcal and domestic criminal misuse of the same system. If the multi national corporations, using Britain to trade, but paying next to no, or no, tax we wouldn't have such a major drain on the system. I'm not a full blown Europhile, by any stretch of the word, but it's been extremely good for trade and movement. I do think the European Convention on Human Rights is basically a good thing but it's interpretation has been perverted as we've seen in the judicial system. I don't

Agreed but there is nothing in EU rules that say any of this has to be provided. The allowance of such things has been a failing of previous government. That is a domestic issue. Bangladesh. Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Nigeria, Ghana, aren't in the EU
-
Honest question. How many home grown citizens have never paid into the system at all? Yet lived on it's benefits?

It is! We could be dealing with a genuine phenomena that simply cannot be detected, currently. It doesn't mean that it won't be in the future. But with the advance of technology I would have thought that there would be more evidence, not less. As the techonology has been advanced it's gone further into debunking "ghost" sightings. Certain sound frequencies causing visual and auditory hallucinations. Electromagnetic fields causing uncertain feelings in certain individuals. Thermal imaging and night vision explaining animals as the cause. It doesn't help that popular paranormal

This month in Las Vegas I had the dubious pleasure of managing the private security for an evangelist that charges $30US, a ticket, so suckers can be healed. As much as I'd like to name and shame, I can't. They make so much money, at these events, they have discreet armed security and the weekends takings are removed by an armed cash handling company. Two of my lads were patrolling the premises and could here a commotion from one of the rooms. On inspection an exorcism was being rehearsed! The same woman was later excorcised infront of an audience of a few thousand. I had the dubio

I miss home all the time. I usually find the best antidote is to spend a week or two watching my wallet being emptied, over there. I've just put 30gallons of diesel, in my truck. £56.

Personally I don't believe in ghosts. Having done pest control in some very old buildings, I've had a few strange, and currently unexplainable encounters. I won't claim that they're ghosts without evidence though. Anyone else notice that the amount of ghost, UFO, and bigfoot sightings have dropped since the rise of everyone on the planet carrying a smart device? Devices that can produce HD pictures and video? I would have thought that there would be more evidence by now.

When is comes to cheating the system why doesn't anyone focus on the major corporations, and businesses, that hide money offshore to avoid paying the exchequer? Companies like Vodafone, Starbucks, Amazon, and eBay to name but a few.

If no one is prepared to put out a program showing the otherside of the coin, then Packham and Co will win by default. The yanks have entire TV channels devoted to hunting, and game management. Why can't Britain? Would anyone pay a subscription to something like that on Sky?

That's f****d!

I'm trying to see how you draw the comparison of a home invasion in South Africa, to the future of crime in Britain. How your YouTube link ties in with the title of this thread. I'm trying to see where this massive assumption comes from.
-
I'm not defending genocide in any form. The irony was implied in the previous post? Have you not been arguing about the rights of a foreign minority, superseding a native majority, here in the UK? That, sir, is irony. This thread was a comparison about crime in South Africa, comparable to a future Britain. A comparison that's delusional, and seasoned with ample amounts of paranoia. You claimed that this is what Britain has in-store due to immigration. Yes? I'm still failing to grasp how your prophesy will come to pass...
