  1. They shouldn't. Why not just make it affordable to begin with?
  2. Did anyone else watch the video far enough to where they claim one of Labour's election pledges is to end the police subsidy on gun licenses? Looks like a ban by bureaucracy. License costs could quadruple pricing out all but the vigilant.

  4. So you're going to pull it all down on a single word? I apologise for my slip in syntax! I don't have faith in evolution. I have empirical data. Consistent facts and logical theories. I can demonstrate it over, and over, and over, and over, and over... ad nauseam It's not a religion! It has no scriptures. It has no prophets. It has no churches, no temples, no clergy. It doesn't tell me how to behave! It doesn't reward, nor punish me. It doesn't talk about life before, or after death. It doesn't wax lyrical about the existence of a soul. It claims nothing of a divine creator, even th
  5. I am agnostic. Your definition is shaky!
  6. I disagree. Evolution isn't a religion. It deals with what can be known. It deals with empirical facts and consistent, logical theories about the world derived from those facts. It's not a belief system, it's not a philosophy. But we're here again, you disagree. I don't... Regardless, if it gets the younger generation to question any kind of dogma then I'm all for it. We have too many people that blindly follow, without any scrap of critical thinking. I mean why read hard stuff when you can dial a premium phone number to vote some bellend off a show? Am I detecting an emerging hu
  7. In no particular order... 1. Frank Sinatra 2. Dean Martin 3. Sammy Davis Jnr 4. Winston Churchill 5. Hunter S. Thompson 6. André Roussimoff 7. Marcus Aurelius 8. Keith Moon 9. Lee Marvin 10. Errol Flynn 11. Ernest Hemingway 12. Steve McQueen I think it would be quite the party... I think I'd prefer the crucifixion to the hangover!
  8. Are we saying it's a last supper? Does that mean we can pick 12 other people? Or is it like a dream team of whoever you'd want to spend your last dinner with?
  9. This is exactly my point! Can you at least see why athiests, and agnostics, have had all kinds of reckoning with this material over the last couple of thousands of years?! I've added the emphasis where I find massive problems with this scripture! They're all claiming they're right! They're all claiming they're printing the word of god! On that website alone they have 52 different interpretations of the same scripture! We've had 2000 years of man writing, re-writing, redacting, adding, subtracting, traslating, re-translating, and yet all of them claim to be messengers of the
  10. A recent visitor... Not see any this year... so far.
  11. Not quite following you here. Are you saying it's been mistranslated, or that it's open to interpretation? I've read more that you've posted since, and again it's just the circular argument of canonised scripture and biblical prophesy. The bible is true because it says so in the bible... It still doesn't answer any of the questions I've asked regarding the bible's content in other posts. Over on Bible Gateway there are 52 different versions, of the English version, of the holy bible. Most of them agree on overall content but they have subtle differences in translation? Why is this
  12. Sophisticated verbalization? "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Who is the author of Genesis? When was it written. Why are there no original copies of said manuscript? How do you know the Genesis was written 3450 years ago? How do we know it was god that created the earth? In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. How do we know? Because it says so in the bible. All of these accuracies can be explained by simple observation of nature. That is free. Most thesis' contain accuracies. The Quran contains accuracies. The Avesta contains ac
  13. Still doesn't validate the bible or prove the existance of god.
  14. .25's are good but better in FAC. Pellet choice is the same issue with the .20 I had a BSA Lightning in .25, fun ratting gun but not much for anything else.
  15. Data distortion? It's a 400 year old book written over 1600 years. I'll stick anachronism.
  16. If Constantine corrupted christianity how do we know we have the real thing?
  17. If it's written hundreds of years later it's an anachronism, not a prophecy?
