  4. Yep. I found another link saying “Currently, no official complaints have been received,” the council said.
  5. Cool. Any chance of a link?

  8. Possible BGD, the media are stressing that the YouGov poll isn't an exit poll... Guess time will reveal the true winners/losers

  11. I've had this camera for nearly 10 years and while I'm no photographer I know the lengths you have to go to! I'm preparing myself for the long haul because I want this shot.
  12. I'm looking on Amazon at the moment. The Canon switch is only $25... I'll need extension cable though... I was thinking a wireless remote switch would cause too much of a delay? Would I be right? These birds move very quickly except when they're on the feeder, or perched in the tree above.
  13. 10 - 4 JD! I'll be needing a cable/ir release!
  14. Ladies, and gents. As some of you may know, I lived out in the Mojave Desert for the last few years. I've recently been able to attract broadtailed hummingbirds to my yard. I'd like to photograph some with my old school Canon 350D. I have a Canon 90 - 300 zoom with image stabilizer, for it. Question is, could any of you give me any tips for high speed photography? These beautiful creatures are like military jets... I'd like to try and get them shoving the finches around!

Couldn't agree more Gnash. It started for me as a tool for my rugby. But it evolved. Training for me has been a zen thing, for a long time. No matter how shit my day. No matter what I've had to deal with. The barbell is honest. It asks for nothing more than the load you put on it. Will I lift it today, or not? It f***ing hurts, but that's what we do.

Agreed Gnash but I guess it depends what you want from your training. I found their stories inspiring and it's what got me into lifting. I knew I'd never be able to replicate their feats but I'm also a realist! How many people honestly look at an Olympia era picture of Arnold and think that is possible? This whole thread is dedicated to diet. If you're serious though, it's a lifestyle. It doesn't have to be complicated. No one has to spend hours in the gym when some of the most grueling routines can be completed in under ¾ of an hour. PEDs. I care not who uses them but I think they're
  17. Who knows? It's British politics. Expect a rigged game.
  18. Walshie... You should blog your adventures. It would be much better than the BBC.
  19. No such thing as a wasted vote! Voting safeguards democracy. Even if you cannot stomach any of the lying bellends at least go and spoil your ballot in protest. Spoiled votes count.

+1 Support gear, and PED's, IMHO are for competition. I stick with compound lifts, and some unorthodox shit like splitting cords of firewood. For decades I've read up on some of the old time strongmen/lifters. Louis Cyr, Paul Anderson, Joe Greenstein. They trained hard and ate well. Their training regimes were incredibly simple. I believe we have a tendency to overthink the training. The latest greatest gear is bigger and better than last year. With the fitness industry worth billions, per year, it's easy to get swept up in the chrome and mirrors aspect. Lift Eat Rest
