Totally agree ive been shot down in flames for saying that....usually by really really intelligent,on the ball types who cant possibly consider that while they rant on and on about piddly injections their very own society is being decimated all around them....that they are being egged on with this " jabs scandal " to keep them off track and conceal the fact their country is being stolen from under their noses ! -
Me neither....its not a mans thing in my opinion all that Facebook/Insta social media shit is for women and kids....even them podcast things i cant be doing with them listened to a bit of them Rogan ones a couple of times but nobody in the world is that interesting that im gonna sit through 2 hours of them rabbiting on.

I get what you're saying my point was that both wrestling and boxing are " used " far more in mma than true martial arts....bjj probably plays more of a role than any martial art so the original point that Karate has its place within the confines of a real fight doesnt stack up. For clarity ive never taken a blind bit of notice when it comes to martial arts and have no interest in it whatsoever for the reasons ive already explained its only that upon realising years ago that my flexibility and suppleness had suffered over the years i started doing a bit of Yoga which i really like,well th

Jeet Kune Do is primarily a philosophy of life and physical transcendence,many people read Bruce Lee's writings and confuse reading it with understanding it very little of it was about " fighting " as such but more about exploring the edges of human potential..........in terms of mma/ufc it could just as easily be argued that wrestling/boxing are both more effective than true martial arts....hence the original point that " Karate " itself was found wanting as an option in a real fight.

Yes but whats that got to do with Karate ?.....Ufc itself was originally about finding out " what works " in a real fight......and Karate has never or will ever be used,proofs in the pudding.

Agreed,i was only talking to a pal about this incident earlier i was saying words to the effect of " what were kids so young doing out on their own "....he just looked at me and laughed...." think of some of the mad shit we was doing at that age "......brought it home really,here we all are moaning kids are stuck behind computer screens all day yet we still give off when they're out and about enjoying the outdoors......accidents happen sadly.....tragic,my heart go's out to them parents.

Apart from Ortiz being neary 70 years old and Chisora only being 60 they've both had 2 title challenges so could be said they are about even....but the level of opposition Chisora has faced is so much higher than Ortiz id say Chisora has to be the bigger named opponent.
