If Charlie Hebdo happened to be run by Front National or any other right wing group of people...... instead of a group of liberal lefties and feminists do you think it would of been left to run unchallenged on a national scale ?..........straightforward question. Impossible for me to know really as I don't have enough knowledge of the French system. My gut feeling is yes it would be, if it ran with the same fairly broad spectrum of critique. No normal person could condone such sick reactions.....but that magazine had to expect a reaction of some sort....... this magazine is allowed to publically humiliate who it likes and have nobody to answer to......." I love listening to the old stories from years back ( im not convinced football shirts had pockets in mind you ).....ive heard Greaves say Smith was the second hardest player he played against behind Chopper Harris.....some of the tales he tells about him are worth reading if you like all that old stuff.....i think them olduns are left very bitter about the way the game has gone which is a shame...... Cracking post there Wirral countryman always nice hearing the opinions of folk who have been through the different eras.

They,ve had a few tussles since then mate dont you remember the Fa Cup game in 95 when they took it on the pitch and Chelsea fans were attacking Millwall players running off the pitch......it was always a lively one and the fact they havent met for 20 years should make it interesting.

Wasnt anything like that he was just caught up in silly shit all the time he had 3 or 4 brothers involved in a family feud type thing,got stabbed a few times after mullering someone with a dog chain the whole lot of them were nasty little fuckers but could all throw a dart.....one of the younger brothers Steve is a top pro still. Apparently it was the Winmau World Masters that he won beating Barneveld in the final....doubt he,ll get back to that level,makes you realise sport is all about timing sometimes.

Brigzy you seem to know your stuff have you heard of a player called Tony West....he,s a friend of a friend who was doing well 10/12 years ago he beat Van Barneveld in one of the big tournaments but lost his way a bit after that......he,s back again the last few years and playing some sort of qualifying rounds for the PDC.
