I'm a huge guardian breed enthusiast always owned some type of guard dog but I'll happily admit I don't NEED one, I just enjoy owning them. Over the years my dogs have stopped intruders a couple of times but did they do anything that couldn't of been achieved with other decent security measures? Probably not. Some people just like certain breeds thats understandable im sure you are a good responsible owner with enthusiasm and knowledge for your chosen breed/s......but as we see in day to day life with the so called " image " breeds most people dont own them for the right reasons.....im n

Not quite the same but i remember years ago a scene from one of the Rambo films when he,s in Afghanistan playing some game on horseback where they have to pick a dead sheep up and ride around with it.......all the Afghans are pulling the corpse this way and that but when it comes to Rambo grabbing it the dead sheep has turned into a big fluffy teddy bear that you win at the fairground .....i lost all respect for the film after that ! -
I didnt see the Ward/Smith fight till late last night that was poor....hard as it is to say about any pro fighter the one thing thats unforgiveable is not putting the work in.....i would think Smith would find it hard to retire living with that as his last fight.

Saucy f****r telling me im getting old and here you are planning on being a great grandad .....im no mathematician but that puts you well into your 70,s ! Good stuff mate always nice to see a lad not too proud to show his affection.......i chased my boy all round the car park trying to plant a smacker on him he was having none of it Gnash is your boy different from you growing up or the same? I don't mean to be nosey but just when you said you felt proud with the way he is ect, I would hate my boys doing the things I done between the age of 17 to about 22, done things that make me cringe

Not just yet on any of your presumptions pffffff ! All i meant about Bob Shannon is the fact he,s been a recognised boxing trainer for a number of years......the obvious choice would of been Brian Hughes but to end up with a team around him who have no experience of top class boxing to me was naive.

Mid 20,s Lukey i cant blame him for anything i was a disaster and im just grateful he,s given me the opportunity to get to know him again,maybe similar to your ol fella im planning on being a better grand parent than parent.............well in mate you wrap your arms around them every chance you get while they are still kids !

I imagine guard dog breeds are the same as most other breeds in that the percentage of people that actually NEED them as opposed to just want them is extremely low......how many times do you see a big foaming at the mouth dog being taken into a pokey little terraced house where the most valuable item in it is probably the dog !!

Its nice there ive been to Yasmine Hammamet a few times...hold your temper down though mate you,ll be surrounded by annoying little men trying to drag you into shops every time you leave the resort .....have a cracking time anyway.

Im not normally the type to go all soppy but must admit ive been all choked up this weekend ive not had the greatest relationship with my boy who is grown up now but got a call from him yesterday asking to meet up and we,ve had a cracking time together talking stuff through and drawing a line in the sand about certain things he treated me to a lovely meal today,i must admit he,s grown up a very classy young man i cant take any credit but just watching the way he carries himself certainly made me proud.....even more proud that we,ll be a bit closer from now on.....lovely day all round and a hig

1/40 is what i saw.......bit humiliating for the lad really i dont think anyone in a 2 horse race can be odds like that.......that said,its hard to picture him winning i think Ward will stop him mid to late rounds.

Cushty i think most people know the difference between experience based opinions and infatuation based opinions........if you believe what you believe then thats fine i really dont think i,ll lose any sleep over it I have to tell you mate......i know your not too bright and all that but it might be worth remembering that once you have actually admitted to being a wind up merchant the game is kind of over

Was nattering to little Brad Skeete a while back he said as kids on the England squads Fury was a shy kid quiet as a mouse and Billy Joe was the loudmouth....how the roles reversed he said listening to Fury now is either like watching a bad actor play a good part or a good actor play a bad part ........Fury,Degale,Saunders at the front Bradley at the back.

I have no idea who his trainer was....not really sure what you mean mate to be honest Nobodies saying it cant and doesnt happen....its just not putting the odds in your favour.....if your son was a top prospect wouldnt you want to give him the best possible chance with the best possible trainer ?.......its just common sense.

Well if you agree what are you defending it for ?......how do you know it hasnt done any harm ?......i dont know what Furys potential is....do you ?.....i dont know what bad habits he has picked up....do you ?......i dont know how his trainer acts in a corner under extreme pressure....do you ?............what i do know is Fury is with an inexperienced trainer with no proven record training fighters....to me its a crime not to give a fighter the very best opportunities available to them top level sport is about stacking the odds in your favour...........if it wasnt we,d all have our dads and un

My brother used to be a driving instructor.......he wouldnt dream of thinking he could teach Lewis Hamilton anything about driving !.................Having experience of a brawl outside a caravan has no relevance whatsoever to a trainer of multiple World,European and British pro boxing champions mate sorry.
