You dont seriously think Briggs is going anywhere do you mate ?.........has he really sold himself to you ? Lol he is hungry and he has a punchers chance imho the shameless self promotion is first class cos it hooked him a fish He must of smiled inside when he bumped into haye and they struck a deal, he bought himself a chance albeit a small one of getting a slice of the cake Haye not my cup of tea at all, I've nothing against lads stepping up the weights and having a shot but fur me he a cruiser think his biggest draw back is he is too clever for boxing in the fact he knows when he beat

Showed how tough he was in that fight though. Some heart alot would have quit Yes he did but heart doesn't earn you a shot at the title, beating ranked opponents do unless you're a megastar. Im inclined to a agree its getting to the sad stage where fighters are almost talking their way into big fights.....years ago fighters could barely string a sentance together now their public appeal is almost as important as their ability to fight.

Good lad.....theres good and bad in all strains it all evens out over time.......apart from them darkies they,re no good.

Thats the best game ive seen all tournament Wales are doing a Leicester here.....not the greatest team in the world but just want it more and are out hustling more talented opposition its amazing what sheer determination to succeed can achieve when you have the 100% backing and support of a nation this should be an eye opener for English football.........by the way listening to the goal scorers being interviewed do Wales have any Welsh players ?.........i thought hang on a minute that geezers a Londoner then googled a few of the names and they,re all from Kent/Brummies/Southampton/Acton !!..

Wales are doing great its so good to watch players playing with such freedom and enjoyment they look like they,re having the time of their lives......and their fearlessness and vigour are carrying them along........really nice to watch.

Funny thing is Don Mayfield used to dry them out that much they would look like corpses but he was that expert at training them they'd be a powerhouse in the pit. Mayfield was a great conditioner in his day but would be left behind in todays times back then the idea was drying a dog out would create more haemoglobin in the blood which using dex or azium would coagulate in order to carry more oxygen and possibly bleed less.....it actually has nothing to do with the intake of h20 a dog will drink very little water infact on the tapering down days they sometimes wont drink any at all thats h

Are fans unrealistic.....or is our media ?......ive been to many international games and tournaments over the years ive never come across many delusional fans with unrealistic goals..........its the tv and papers i find the silly shit comes from and as fans we cant control that.

Personally i dont think foreign managers should be allowed simple as that......my only leaning towards Neville would be that he is a blank canvas who with a long contract we could actually show some loyalty and support to whereby players and staff all move forward together its not like we have a successful side who just need careful guidance we need to start again from the top down at international level.......Bruce,Allardyce,Pardew are all gap fillers why dont we do something positive and refreshing for a change......apart from him Hoddle would be my only other choice we did well under him an

Maybe it's not a coach we need, but a social worker? There's plenty of other countries with tabloid journalism as bad, if not worse than ours........it's not exclusive to the uk. Scandal within the french side has been all over their press running up to the tournament, can we blame that if they go out next? I think the old 'build them up, knock them down......' argument is over used, although valid at times, it's not applicable for today's England football team, besides, we're talking individuals that's faced scandal, not the whole squad!... ...there's plenty of decent support for our s

Just sat down to the Wales game good luck to you boys hopefully yous can snatch a little 1 nil.......i fear for you though watching Hazard the other day.....all the best

Great post that ......i dont see why we have to write Gary Neville off though, like Venners and Robson he,s one of your own and probably has a good rapport with players. I've always thought that was the case tbh, ruthless as fck at times. I bet some of them lads reading the fallout over the years have felt like shit. Frightened of having a bad performance for fear of getting mullered then having a stinker because of pressure, I think they can't win at times with the media.I think the only pressure on our boys tonight is what they'll put on themselves, nobody here is putting any on them

No need to get excited about it mate we,re only chatting . When a fighter " peaks " his body its for 1 moment of 1 day of 1 week........the timing of that " peak " is vital to his performance you cant ask a fighter to peak 2 days in a row its just not possible ! I hate to use it as an example but its the only one that will make any sense.....when dogs are matched at weight they weigh in usually in the pit itself and are fighting within minutes of making weight.....they are totally peaked out, physically healthy and at their best fighting weight............same could apply to boxing.

With this i agree.....its not the reason we played like 8 year olds but it doesnt help......year in year out everybody knows how the Italians play, everybody knows how the Spanish play, everybody knows how the Germans play..................even our own manager didnt know how the English team were going to play before or during the tournament !
-
Theres lines in sport you just cant cross in my opinion. Definitely yes.....and not just the media but the public as well.......Johnny your lot are playing their biggest game in years tonight.....how many of the Welsh press and public are sitting eagerly anticipating their failure and subsequent humiliation ?......none would be my guess......we bang on about team spirit and togetherness in England when as a society we have none and cant wait to rip into them look at the public humiliation we put on poor Gareth Southgate and other such players who missed vital penalties.....even sinking a

They are very good....they prove that over the course of a season playing in the most competetive league in the world being chosen to play in teams by some of the best managers in the world..........if the countries most knowledgable football people cant work it out i dont suppose we will mate. I know one thing if that f****n kraut Klinsman gets given the managers job thats it i,ll never go to another game in my life thats like asking your ex wife to show you how to make love to your new bird we,ve got to have some pride surely !!
-
Why would they lose any money by getting injured they still get paid whether they play or not.......i say again, these lads do everything expected of them for their clubs......why cant they do it for their country......sorry i just cant see the connection with money they will be back playing well for their clubs in a few months nothing will change money wise.
-
My understanding was he got sent home for being TOO professional and not being happy with the fact that the island chosen to prepare for the biggest tournament in world football didnt have a football pitch !......along with various other things. All time best player thats not for me to decide i,ll take your word/opinion on it

Just makes sense all round dont it Baz.......i was in the company of someone quite high up in British boxing a while ago and put it to him........the answer i got was no promoter would risk the mayhem of a fight not going ahead once the paying customers were in the door should a fighter miss the weight. You could still have a weigh in the day before, what would be the difference then? The difference would be a welterweight on the scales and a middleweight in the ring.

The floating ribs at the bottom you can break without really knowing it but normally the higher up you go the more painful it gets......along the bone itself the closer to the sternum or the spine where the bones thicken out the longer healing will take......most of the pain is not from the break itself but all the connecting tissue and muscle etc Ive broken a number of ribs myself............................and had some of my own broken as well .

Players are not paid for playing for their country but i get your drift........tell me.... if someone came into your factory and told you they was going to give you 50k per week for driving a forklift truck would you say " no sorry im not worth that much i,ll stay on 400 pound per week thanks " ?.......again i get what your saying i just think its such a convenient finger to point we know they are overpaid but thats not the reason they play well for their clubs and not their country.

Thanks for explaining mate really interesting......sorry one last question.....would a breeder also raise and " train " a bull.... if thats the right word.....and if so what go,s into training a bull and how much of it is instinct ?.......they look awesome animals im probably more interested in the bulls than the matador i always root for the baddies in films Bloodline wise i presume like dogs a breeder would stay within his own strain and outcross when necessary same as dogs i suppose.....what are the physical qualities they look for beyond power and aggression do certain bulls have cert

So you feel the likes of Rooney/Ali/Vardy etc etc are simply not very good footballers....is that what your saying ?........you think as individual players the Iceland lads are better than the English ?......if thats the case why do you think it is that the top clubs in English/Spanish/Italian football havent snapped these Icelandic guys up ? Do you think managers like Mourinho/Ferguson/Wenger just dont really know what they are doing by picking English players instead of Icelandic players to play in their teams ?
-
So Bryan......if these bulls are purpose bred for their own specific qualities it would suggest there is value in them....is there ?.....and if so who breeds/sells them and who buys them.......is the income generated purely by spectators ? It must be hard for a breeder who has put effort into producing a certain quality of animal see it intentionally put to its death like that.....are there certain breeders whos stock is used within certain areas or would a prized bull travel the country type of thing ?
