  1. Been kicking my heels for a few days so looked at the little notifications thing and came to this topic and i think its refreshing that you are finally asking about things you dont understand instead of talking complete bollocks all the time ? English people are a distinct and defined ethnic group....one cannot simply " identify " as English, likewise a man cannot " identify " as a woman as you lefties crave, not in a factual and truthful society anyway.....we are primarily defined by ancestry and we are of English ancestry, people of foreign ancestry are not, thats not an insult its a fact..
  2. Dont worry .... im sure it,ll turn out he was a newly imported cardio - thoracic surgeon here to help us ?
  3. I mean its not like he,s a young prospect finding his feet is it the geezers been a pro for 12 years for f**k sake ?
  4. Exactly....so you can only go on facts/their records...........and beyond Wilder,Fury has managed to avoid every current top heavyweight out there and instead fought meaningless no hopers and now a third fight with Wilder....no other top heavyweight has been able to avoid other top heavyweights so as you say not knowing what go,s on behind closed doors you can only say what you,ve seen.
  5. Are my peepers playing up whats them 2 ghostly looking figures on the left in the first picture they look ready to perform some sort of satanic ritual....its not one of them trees is it !
  6. I dont normally like to answer a question with a question but beyond Wilder which current top heavyweight has he not avoided ?
  7. Multiculturalism and diversity is working out well dont you think.

    Goat?

I think players like Rooney and Owen peaked far too early in their careers....probably the wrong body type for longevity.....too much boys/youth football maybe ?....i know on the continent they refuse to put boys affiliated to pro clubs through the type of competitive club/school/county leagues that we do over here for precisely that reason they dont want all that over playing stress on an undeveloped body.

I think the drawback with Rooneys goalscoring record is the opposition and the fact a big number of his goals were from the penalty spot...i know he scored bundles in friendlies against goat herders but did he really score and perform in the big games with any consistency ?

I have the odd natter with Teddy as we have a few mutual pals i could listen to him all day he always said Shearer was the best partnership in terms of understanding he ever had in the game....but yes what you say makes sense about formations and not something i really think about....so what your saying is Lineker had better service than Shearer would of had ?.......i wonder could it be the same with Kane today its not like he has an abundance of creative talent behind him in an England shirt.

Interesting......as an outright goal poacher ( purely in an England shirt i meant ) i always booked Shearer as tops i liked his aggression and desire to simply score a goal he must of been a nightmare to play against im told even in training he was avoided and just couldnt play the game without growling...i like that kind of intensity in any sportsman maybe thats something lads like Owen and Fowler lacked ?.......Ian Wright was another who had that lovely passion and desire to do well that all fans love to see.....Lineker i could never make my mind up about i booked him half an iron after Mexi

I think its great to live in a time when we can have that kind of argument im not sure Pele had a rival in his era or Maradona in his ( Stiff will probably correct me he seems to know his players ? ) i think Messi and Ronaldo are the 2 greatest players of all time and Ronaldo just pips it for me.....Scholes i was never sold on him great vision and ability yes but i preferred Gerrard if im honest ?

Probably i cant remember mate......selective memory i suppose ?......same sort of thing though on his day its just give him the ball and let him crack on.
  17. I suppose its like anything different people are effected in different ways i was only speaking of my own experiences and observations of folk over the years....drink for example i have pals who can drink socially and not alter their personalities whatsoever and then theres a couple who become complete f****n idiots....even myself i never drank at all up until 5 or 6 years ago as i had that " my body is a temple " thing going on being in gyms for years....even though i always enjoyed pub life but now im not quite as dedicated to strength/fitness i enjoy a few drinks occasionally and have disco
  18. Its probably just a wording issue when you hear someone say Tyson Fury would beat Muhammad Ali you tend to think they are saying Fury is better but of course its all relative and again like i said to your first post....put 40% on Ali and take 40% off Fury as an evolutionary allowance and it becomes a joke fight....we got their in the end ?
  19. Thats the long and the short of it.....Fury is a decent fighter who makes good use of his physical advantages.....for boxing purists its not nice to see fighters become world champions on physical size alone ( Valuev being a perfect example ) but it is what it is until boxing comes into the 21st century in terms of weight divisions this kind of thing will continue to happen in heavyweight boxing....for me in terms of boxing ability Fury came on a bundle when he got away from his family trainers he started utilising his height and reach in what is very basic 1st and 3rd boxing technique you lea
  20. Thats just evolution in sport and life itself though mate today a 4 minute mile is common place so is it fair to say anyone who consistently runs a 4 minute mile is a " better " runner than Roger Bannister ?.......my only real sporting hero was Bobby Moore, for me he was the greatest centre half this country has ever produced yet i watched Eric Dier play for England yesterday and he runs faster than Bobby Moore is stronger than Bobby Moore jumps higher is physically fitter etc etc.........but no football fan alive would say he is a " better " footballer than Bobby Moore........like i say when c

Sorry for dragging stuff up ive missed but its a better way to kill a bit of time than reading the paper ! I always said the best player i ever saw live by a mile was Ronaldo....having watched footie all my life down Upton Park from every part of that ground i remember Man Utd coming down and my pal suggested going in the old chicken run where we hadnt been for years.....Wilf will know what im on about it was the closest you would get to the pitch in any modern football ground and from that view of the game i was in shock and amazement at simply how fast Ronaldo could move with a ball at
  22. Yeah same ?........that said, manners dont cost much even in this day and age.
  23. I feel exactly the same......i just tried to put it in a more diplomatic way so as not to offend Greyman ?....or anyone else for that matter.
  24. Yep like i say each to their own once your flaked out in the evening,i just like people around me to be on the ball, from what ive seen over the years i think it induces apathy and indifference....saps the will to fight if you like.....i think one of the reasons theres such a big push to legalise cannabis ( and it will be legalised ) is because it makes people tolerate things they wouldnt otherwise tolerate.
  25. Great days for young lads they was literally anyone could pick up a spanner and have their car in bits that 1600 ohv engine in the Escorts i could have them in bits and back together like a Meccano set i thought id moved into the big league when i had my first twin 40's ohc engine ? we would strip them down on a Sunday aftenoon with all this nonsense mechanical talk about how to get an extra 2 bhp from our cars, stripping the interior out and your bird looks at you and says " so where am i sposed to sit "......." well you'll have to go on a diet then you fat c**t i need to take another 0.1 sec
