How many generations does it take a working dog to lose the instinct to work if its not being worked......id imagine the same theory must come into play with wild animals who no longer have to obtain their own food....maybe im wrong......but they are certainly going to lose some ability to do it as efficiently surely ?

Im not much of a book reader but this is written by a lad i have a lot of time for and is turning out a really interesting read from the direction of us ( Western Men )....some of you chaps might enjoy it.....id offer my copy to anyone who fancied reading it but the sales money go,s to a great cause so more of them the merrier.

Whats the width of one of them mate is it 10 ft ? Looks good, lets hope its what your looking for. And if its not nosey to ask...what was wrong with the one above,you posted on Sept 12th.....i imagine a lot of them must feel a bit dark and claustrophobic i went on one for a week and kept having to stick my head out the windows ?.....but that one looks nice and light/airy.

Watched it last night i said the same i couldnt be doing with a bird as " needy " as that i felt a bit sorry for the geezer at first !...f**k me thats some mid life crisis,plenty of fellas hit the weights and f**k about with a new sort but wiping out your entire family....evil c**t !.....from what i read it was only March this year Colorado did away with the death penalty.

I disagree....there are good numbers who can ultimately force change........there are plenty of groups who think like us but we cannot unite.....and are so busy squabbling amongst themselves on detailed policy the bigger/basic picture is lost. The shift from right to left has been so cleverly inserted into society that people who were once basic civic nationalists are now seen as lefties and that is tearing apart basic right leaning groups and parties. I first heard the term " dogman " when reading about bulldog men in America with yards of 50/60/70 plus dogs making a living off the sport and the dogs themselves......im not sure such a thing even exists in this country we dont have people who can live like that.....to me everyone else is just pursuing their sport/hobby " dogman " isnt a title awarded for great achievements its just a person who makes their living purely from the dogs or the dog game...thats my view anyway.

I make you right we have no idea just how many people are in on this " thoughts attack " process currently in action.....a group i know have been putting these banners out in very public places,one being a motorway bridge close to me on the M25....they are never there more than 4 or 5 hours tops so a camera was placed nearby to see who was taking them down and it turned out it was the motorway maintenance lads putting the cones out....whether it was off their own backs or on orders to do so who knows.....but the BLM banner at junction 16 of the same motorway was there for 2 weeks apparently.

I dont think the gambling matters mate.....some of the best matches through years have been for the price of a keep or just for sport its just for the same reason its illegal for 2 men to have a straightener in a public place organised violence outside of sport cannot be publicly condoned.....i get it and dont have a problem with it to be honest.....ethically though i agree with you.

I always said the matching of dogs,done correctly....only becomes cruel or inhumane after the event....if an owner doesnt know how to doctor the dog etc......the contest itself while probably not acceptable in this day and age is governed by rules stopping it from being cruel or inhumane.....and thats why the rules are there.

Maybe its just the terminology i cant get to grips with its like the fat kid at school trying to stop you from stealing his dinner money.....its not " a fight " just because you are swapping punches he just wants you to go away and leave him alone. I agree with Wilf if the dog kills quickly and efficiently its a good dog if it doesnt its not....anything else is simply down to choosing the right tools for the job.

Exactly....so why does it need to be fair ?.....how far do you want to take fair...do you want to weigh the quarry before sending your dog at it just to make sure your dog doesnt have an advantage.....i get what Wilf is saying get it killed as quick and easy as possible....i just dont see where " fair " comes into it at all mate.
