I wouldnt disagree with either point.....but then should Klitchsko really be considered a great if he couldnt adapt .....cant have it both ways im afraid.
-
I refer back to my Marciano/Frazier v Tyson Fury point......the fact they probably couldnt beat him is just too traumatic for my rationale ! " Super heavyweight " if it was brought in would not be the big bucks division simply because i like to think boxing fans prefer to watch quality high level heavyweight boxing as opposed to " Its a Knockout " type match ups.
-
I think when you look at the fighter in the ring instead of the name on the waistband Chisora is actually the best win of Fury's career.....Klitchko for whatever bizarre reason didnt turn up and Wilder x3 is terrible.....cant say as i know much about his other opponents.
-
Where i think boxing has to be careful is legitimate heavyweight greats like Joe Frazier or Marciano would probably have had little chance had Tyson Fury been around in their era......and that is an utterly preposterous thought !!!
-
I slightly disagree mate, not on this scale it hasnt......do you remember watching World of Sport on a Saturday and seeing Big Daddy or Giant Haystacks " competing " against much smaller but far superior wrestlers......embarrassing to watch wasnt it......ok its an exaggerated example but the theory is the same.....the ethics of sport has to come first in my opinion.
-
Ive said for years mate they should simply bring in a Super Heavyweight division like there is in amateur boxing.....i actually like the Ufc divisions i think they are spaced well and in proportion but theres no doubt boxing has to get with the times and evolution of human size if its not to turn serious sport into a circus.....i think theres currently 17 weight divisions but around 8 of them are featherweight and below where the spacings are as little as 3 and 4 lb. The gap between light heavy and cruiserweight where the limit s 200 lb is 25 lb.......so why not have say a 35 lb gap betwe

??? Brilliant !! What like whether he counts in 3's you mean ?
-
We all knew what he meant but anyone that starts a sentence with " Its a 10 count not 10 seconds "....has to expect a bit of flack for it ?...but again,we knew what he meant and thats the main thing.
-
So forgetting the whole neutral corner stuff and concentrating purely on time......in what unit of time does a referee count to 10 ?....ie.....how long does it take a referee to do a " 10 count " if its not by using " seconds as in on a watch " ?

We're seeing it exactly the same mate, without sounding unkind to Fury or his followers Usyk could show just how average Fury really is as a boxer.....his footwork will totally confuse Fury, his angles,everything......its a fight where you'll probably see Fury resort to mauling and leaning as he just hasnt got the sheer talent, ability and knowledge that Usyk has.........BUT.....will the size gap just be too much my maths isnt great but if Fury had 40 lbs on Wilder he,s going to have 60+ on Usyk......it would be great to see boxing win over size but you have to be sensible i suppose.
-
Absolutely.....the danger of taking on top fighters is the likelihood that you might lose a few.....99% of fighters experience that feeling and how they come back is how you gauge them as fighters post career.....totally agree regards McCracken but i think Joshua is quite a loyal lad and probably wont.
-
? good try....but no regardless of your Fury infatuation after your comment about how long it takes to count to 10 i just cant take you serious sorry ?
-
Oh of course yes,it was an entertaining fight....i can watch crappy 6 rounders in small hall shows and still enjoy them im just saying what i observed from it.
-
A debate between a fan of boxing and a fan of a boxer is always hard work and go's nowhere ?
-
Thanks for reply Bill yes Teds got to think long term he,s too young to be having the kind of wars he,s having at this stage of his career he has a nice little construction firm thats doing ok hopefully that might come into the equation but he,s a game kid and thats not going to matter when he,s taking shots. I didnt think it was a great performance from Fury i thought Wilder did what Wilder does and just searched for the straight right hand all night and Fury seemed to struggle with his reading of the fight to me...normally he is good at gauging the tempo of a fight, when to turn it on an

In your defence of blacks you obviously dont mean to do it but if you had been around them or lived in areas heavily populated with the type of " come forward " type blacks ive been around you would realise just what a degrading thing that is to say Greb....they would hate you for it !!.......why should blacks adopt a different culture to their own ?......and im the racist apparently ? Blacks are currently being advertised and promoted in the most public and obvious way which to many of them is utterly demeaning....it makes them look like white people are their continual babysitters until

Its always funny to watch people try to pretend we are all the same....ive had these type of conversations over many years and it now seems that Frank Bruno has taken over from Denzel Washington as the standard " whats the difference " reference ?....i dont want to patronise you Greb but its a desperate and childish comparison to make as you are going to the extreme on 1 individual to emphasise your point.....i could go to the other extreme and ask how anybody could possibly say we are the same looking at the picture below....but i know its silly as when discussing billions of people you have

I cant believe folk have a downer about " Heat " its one of my favourite films, has everything in mu opinion....the cafe scene with DeNiro and Pacino is a classic conversation of honesty, commitment and mutual respect i think its brilliantly played....if im not wrong it was the first scene they ever played together....one of the few films ive watched more than twice.
-
You and me both mate thats why i tend to keep things simple and everything ive ever observed on racial difference leads me to think that the types of issues you mention healthcare, poverty, crime etc are all linked to ethnic iq......again,to keep things simple i think first world nations and third world nations are what they are for a reason.
-
What the f**k is the point in starting a topic about issues between black and white people and then whining and moaning when people discuss issues between black and white people !!
-
I dont disagree....but when critiquing billion+ groups of people im not sure theres anything better as a general guide do you ?
-
Same.....and the sooner we stop patronising people with shit like " we are one race the human race " and start having honest if uncomfortable conversations about those differences the sooner we can start expecting things like multiculturalism to actually work if thats the way the world is going.
-
50/50 fight whoever lands first will win....if Joshua came out tentative like his last few fights he,d lose....if he aggressively go's after him he puts his punches together better than Wilder so will probably win.
-
Personally i think Usyk would quite literally play with Wilder. I dont think in all my years ive ever seen a professional fighter get caught crossing his feet and virtually trip himself over like Wilder does....you wonder whether to laugh or cry !!
-
What have they explored, what have they discovered, what have they invented i agree but i dont set the iq test mate.
