    Mums

I have seen my Mother once in 30 years at my Grandmothers funeral and my old man walked out when I was 4 it’s a long story not to be discussed on a public forum but Greyman I get exactly where your coming from. If anything it’s made me stronger and more independent and focused.
  2. It’s funny you should say that as on closer inspection I’ve found that the serial number is CB and not originally GB as thought and CB is not listed but I found this old post on an Airgun forum the plot thickens lol. http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php?845708-BSA-Cadet-Major-CB-prefix
  3. Thanks very much Jimmy as soon as I get some time I will have to make a start on it I really love old things I’ve also got a very old 410 Poachers shotgun that’s probably older than the air rifle then there’s a Lee Enfield sword bayonet dated 1859 which me and a friend attached to a Enfield .303 with an old attachment it made the weapon feel formidable considering the sword is 2 and a half foot long lol. Thanks again if I need any help I will pm you ?
  4. Thanks Jonjon seems like a nice old classic I had a look at Knibs earlier and they seem to carry most of the spares for a rebuild, I’ve fired it a couple of times and I’m surprised how tight it still feels when breaking it I think it deserves some love considering it’s age.

It’s disgusting and should not be promoted as normal on tv where kids can see it, I must admit I fly into a rage when confronted with blokes kissing blokes we are all told that we have to be tolerant and diverse but bollocks to that I’m having none of it when you was born in the 60s and was a seventies kid it’s hard to erase what was ingrained into you especially where I grew up. Just too add 70s best decade ever.
  6. You might be right Tom thanks I just looked them up and it’s very similar, it ties up with the age as well a 1950s sort of age apparently they were used at fairgrounds.
  7. Hi lads I’ve had this 177 springer laying under my bed for years it used to belong to my father in law who had it when he was a boy he is now 85 so it makes the gun possible 60 years old plus maybe. I tried googling for info but hardly anything was found it’s got BSA on the stock one side and Ajax the other with Ilford in very small writing it also has what looks like a batch number GB 55624 which says probably a lot were made. I have not done anything to it but the spring is strong and it still fires surface rust on the metal but with a bit of love it could be returned to almost n
  8. Admittedly my iPhone does almost everything my iPad does but I can’t see it I’m short sighted probably explains my shooting lol...
  9. iPad all day mate I don’t use any thing else you can upload pics with no dramas and I use mine for work as well as entertaining myself by coming on here also it can hold most apps and informs you of updates, it has many other uses but for what you want it for ideal and allows you to expand if you wish, I’ve had my latest one the iPad Air about 7 years and I’ve owned the earlier ones, in fact I’ve still got one of the first ones at home still going strong but it’s so old I can’t update it any more.
  10. I’ve been a fan for years since the early albums 2112 ect long rock tracks like the Necromancer. But I must say in the spirit of this thread Nicholas Parsons was a good old boy RIP.
  11. Take me hat off to you mate you must have been at his bedside although I was surprised we didn’t have a Neal Peart Rock band Rush fame obituary, may be it passed me by keep up the sterling work.
  12. I’ve got a very similar jacket to that SAS smock in desert camo and it’s warmish and pretty waterproof what I do like about it is the hood it’s wired so you can shape it as you wish plenty of pockets as well as chest pockets if it gets too cold my Montane Extreme goes underneath then I’m too hot lol, my son served in the military so he got me a lot of stuff one of the most used and useful things I got was a oil proof waterproof bib and brace never been cold or wet in them and takes tremendous amounts of abuse through brambles ect.
  13. No wonder it was fishy it was like eating an eyeball one of the strangest things I’ve eaten ?
  14. I’ve just watched it on catch up I can’t believe what I’ve just watched attention seeking sick people both sides vegans and the cannibals, what made me curious was the the chicken lover lady what would she have thought if Mr fox paid her a visit would she love the fox like she loved the chickens, also just too add slightly off topic my favourite South Park episode was the Chicken Lover lol......
  15. I noticed it straight away lol it’s this predictive thing sometimes you look think I wasn’t even thinking that. ?
  16. I’ve travelled quite a bit myself and one of the weirdest things I’ve eaten recently was a sea urchin one of the fishiest things I’ve ever eaten you’d expect it to be fishy but as I popped it in my gob I thought wow. ( Cue the crude comments lol )....
  17. Love reading about your Goat adventures Jigsaw it’s been a while I envy the countryside you got there, well done to you and the dogs couldn’t have been easy carrying that lot back to the car.
  18. Where I am in the South East a 2 Bedroom house about 40 mile east of London between £320,000 & £350,000 and much higher for 3 bedroom but 18 acres in this area your looking at the millions and that’s all in sterling, I’d love 18 acres I was looking at the highlands the other day on rightmove very good value up there as well, oh well not long to retirement then decision time lol...
  19. I stayed in Dungarvan once thought it was great place, we were also up in a place called Old Parish as well it was like stepping back in time to how things used to be in the U.K. no traffic shops shut on a Sunday slower pace of living and house prices were so much more affordable to where I’m living.
  20. My Guilty pleasure was going to see Derek Achora twice just to accompany my wife of course ?
  21. On my way down some woman behind me fell if she had grabbed my shoulder she would have been fine instead she went down on her knees and ripped her knee cap off and had stones embedded under the flap it was pretty serious we called Brecon Mountain rescue and they got her off the mountain by carrying her down and it was before the dip and the rise so a hard slog for them my lad met them in the car park first thing they said was is she fat lol she ended up in surgery, can be dangerous if you lose concentration.
  22. I done it last year nice walk up from the storey arms the last bit was a bit steep though.
  23. This is one of the reviews plucked from trip advisor weak pathetic people in another review a bloke was moaning he couldn’t get a flat white at the top and it ruined his family’s experience what a fanny, Crib Goch is the hardest route apparently YouTube it it’s mad. Too Hard This mountain is so steep, it's wet, cold and miserable, surely the local council can plant some trees or something to protect climbers from the wind on the way up? Or at the very least dig away at the rock and make it straighter? Also there is no signal so I couldn't live stream or Snapchat or Facebook my
  24. I’ve just returned from Mauritius which isn’t far from South Africa and I met a white South African couple they were absolutely sound the lad was really into his hunting and some of the game he hunts shows how shit our hunting is in this country but aside that in the evenings whilst having a drink he told me that at least 90 white farmers a month are being murdered by the blacks have you read about this in the news I certainly haven’t and he was saying that he couldn’t ever get a job with the government as it had to go to a black man first. Crazy they protested and fought all those years
