  1. There not a bad gun 26” barrels 1/4 and Imp choke and ejector I think I paid £240 for mine a couple of years ago privately. Good luck with it.
  2. Hi Deker it could be an Hungarian hot wax they can be various colours yellow green red I believe, there not that hot people put them in stews salads etc they look very healthy, I’m growing some habanero at the moment nice and hot but I doubt they will be nothing like the Trinidad scorpions I grew last season which were insanely hot.
  3. Just had a 4 day road trip in my Land Cruiser Lc5 3 litre over Dartmoor and Exmoor and right down to Land’s End smooth as anything and went up some silly hills with ease I covered about a thousand miles I wouldn’t own anything else now and I have had experience of its rivals Discovery’s included.

  9. Off hand I would say that would have been an act of God ? laying down is my preference these days, I went through a stage where I was saying take the shot off hand with some success but I seem to default back to my preferred laying down and blending in position. And my scope is zeroed in at a hundred yards which seems to give good results, I also had a couple of rabbits that were 120 + last night there a good little gun had my one about ten years now.
  10. I went out this evening for a few hours and managed three rabbits in real nice condition our farm has been really hit by the disease but they are slowly coming back but nowhere near the numbers of the past, I had two Squirrels as well but I had to put this picture up this was at 126 yards with the range finder all I could see was it’s head sticking out of the stubble fluke who knows but I’m claiming I meant it lol CZ 452 .17 16” Varmint barrel with 17 grain Remington.
  11. What upsets me is when people fill up the fruity stuff with ice what on earth are they thinking about commercial shite.
  12. The address is in this trip advisor link middle of nowhere as most good things are ? https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g1931382-d7010921-Reviews-Wilkins_Cider_Farm-Wedmore_Somerset_England.html#REVIEWS
  13. It’s normally around about 1055 to 1058 ABV ( alcohol by volume ) when I first chuck the hydrometer in after pressing, and after it’s all fermented out it returns about 6% but it varies year to year depending how much fructose the fruit is holding, I only do enough for myself to tick over during the summer I’ve been making it for years with my trusty Vigo press. Theres some good threads in the living off the land section Mole trapper used to make a lot and I’ve put up some pics from start to finish it’s a very satisfying hobby albeit hard graft.
  14. I drink mainly cider produced by myself in the pic is last years brew, in a couple of weeks time I’m taking a couple of 5 gallon barrels with me on a road trip to Cornwall Devon & Somerset and I am going to stock up at the legendary Roger Wilkins Cider Farm http://wilkinscider.com/
  15. I was in Kerala southern India a few years back in a rice boat sailing through the Kerala backwaters it’s what you do when you visit the place the guide was pointing out there’s a Sea Eagle and over there there’s a mass of Giant lily pads and I clocked out of the corner of my a eye a bloke having a massive squirty diarrhoea shit on the river bank into the water kinda spoilt it a bit it’s left a memory that won’t go away lol....
  16. Amazing write up thanks for the depth and honesty what a place, the Boar Hunt did it for me I think I would have exploded with excitement when the dogs let go lol.

It’s nice to hear of their patriotism I was recently in the Dominican Republic and it was Canada Day and the hotel put on a bit of a thing for the large amount of Canadian guests staying where we were, it was good to celebrate with them and man they can drink not necessarily like the British where we sink pints they sink lots of spirits.
