I bought a Barbour endurance years ago they don’t make them anymore probably 20 plus years ago I’ve never been wet or cold in it it was expensive but worth every penny, I’ve also got a Belstaff trial master which I used to wear on my Ducati you’ve gotta look the part lol that’s just sitting in the wardrobe but the Barbour I wear every winter, it’s a true saying you buy once you cry once get your wallet out and treat yourself.

While your in Barcelona check out Casa Mia and especially Parc Guell it looks like everything is made of marzipan Gaudi is where the old fashioned expression it looks a bit gaudy comes from great place enjoy.

Out today for a couple of hours I see a couple of rabbits a pheasant and a big old fox sniffing about, also whilst laying up I see a really nice green woodpecker clear blue sky but a bit chilly was nice to be out. I shot two bunny’s skinned and gutted in the field, I cannot believe the accuracy of this gun some times almost straight through the rabbits eye on one shot.

Nice set up there DC Fourtracks are a good honest vehicle and as you say will pull a house down, I only got rid of mine because at the time I was driving it to Tottenham in London and they was fleecing me for clean air charges, two lads from Yorkshire bought it as soon as I put it up for sale.

I used to own a Daihatsu Fourtrack field master colour was green 2 seater and it was like a big cage in the back ideal for dogs guns and all your kit regret getting rid of it, I’ve had loads of 4x4s Discovery being one of them I didn’t like it, last 5 years I’ve owned a Landcruiser say no more awesome I think they are the longest vehicle still in production ultra reliable built to last and go anywhere.

Looking back I wished I’d joined the military Falklands was kicking off about the time I could have started my career I just didn’t have the discipline then what I have now, although I like the job I do know dealing with incidents on the railway every day is different I could literally write a book about it, some days and weeks are mad and you have to ask did I just attend that.

I have been a member of the RMT for the last 25 odd years due to the job I do ( Railway ) but I cannot abide the politics of my union left wing commie nonsense, but like the late Bob Crow Mìck lynch puts his members first I can’t knock him for that. Nigel Farage I would vote for him in an instant what’s not to like about the bloke, he talks sense the truth he has British values at heart likes hunting fishing and shooting and loves a beer and really gets up the lefties noses, and led the the Brexit campaign although it hasn’t turned out how it should have due to our traitorous current MPs.

Popped out today in between showers and bagged a pheasant and a rabbit I was quite happy with the rabbit nice head shot, in fact there was more pheasants about today than rabbits all cocks but I took one and the rest can wait till next time. They were still warm when I processed them pheasant was breasted and the rest is simmering for a good stock.

It’s a cult film by John Waters featuring Divine about two families who try to out filthy each other, the ending is in very poor taste excuse the pun you will know what I mean if you look it up, Divine was asked by Jonathan Ross who is a bit of a film buff did you really do that and he said yes I was young and thought nothing of it, it’s sick lol.

Hi Sparky all the information you need and links to suppliers of seals springs etc you will find in the Classic air rifle section you’ve just got to sift through, I’ve got an old 1959 BSA 177 that I’ve still got to do something with, when I retire maybe lol. -

I could have had two last night when I was out rabbit shooting I got a few rabbits but I had a fox come within about 30/40 foot and sit and stare at me I don’t shoot them unless it’s necessary most of my permission is arable, I grabbed my phone to get a pic and he was away. Well done on the 6 mate good start to a bit of new permission farmer must of see that and was well chuffed.
