  1. I agree Johnny 100% but as for the reasons in the OP 1/2p will be missed even though he is not really an attacking full back in his own way he causes the opposition problems in that they just cannot afford to be cynical at the breakdown anywhere in their own half or 10 yards into Wales come to that. TC
  2. proper pot licker he is the way i figure it 3 or 4 nights a week on shorter trips are better than 1 big night out for me and the mutt How true, what more can you want than a couple of hours out and to come home with a few rabbits. How much more sport do you get doing it that way rather than trying to get as much as you can on every trip. TC
  3. As we rugby fans will know the Rugby World Cup is starting this weekend. I see Walshie has pinned his colours to the mast. Prior to last weekend I really fancied Wales getting out of the "group of death." Now with Halfpenny & Webb gone I doubt if we will. The advantage we had with 1/2p was that anywhere from 5 yards inside your own half he kept the opposition honest as his strike rate at that distance was phenomenal. Now with no long range kicker oppositions are more inclined to give away those penalties. Webb will also be very much missed, his speed of delivery and go forward again k
  4. both be hard to punch using your fist though cushty? When has a hammer been used in a boxing ring? Didnt they used to call Henry Coopers right hand Henry,s Hammer ? who was called the ghost with the hammer in his hand, think he was from wales, Jonny Owens from Merthyr? TC
  5. If you have to have a big bag to enjoy a day out then I really feel sorry for you, as your life will be full of disappointments. Take him out, leave your gun at home and simply enjoy the day for what it is. (No matter what colour coat he is wearing.) TC
  6. You sound real OCD get a grip, take him out and just be pleased for him no matter the outcome. TC
  7. IMHO those nets are not man enough for the job. Not only will the Munty destroy the nets it could be very likely that it would really hurt it's self in the process. If I were to tackle a job like that I would use at least an 8" mesh and a net of no less than 12 z or better still a multi mono of 2. x 10 strand with a drop of not less than 5 ft TC
  8. Bigger fish to fry. http://www.sportfishingmag.com/bluefin-first-giant-tuna-caught-off-wales TC
  9. Not me, I thought Flynn was in the know? TC
  10. Lightweight, I am travelling up from deepest darkest Wales and not an anorak in sight. TC I did hear that some one is baking cakes for the event, if they dont have teflon brain Good I would love to try some home made cake. TC
  11. Clothes do not make a man, the man makes the clothes. That's why you could dress me in a Saville Row suit and I would still look like a sack of sh!t tied in the middle. Joggers and crocks, or shorts and crocks. Simples. TC
  12. Beat me to it. More like enthusiastic amateurs. TC

  14. All the ones who say they would. FFS grow up, your like dogs chasing a car if you caught it you could not drive it. TC
  15. There does not seem to be much response, does no one want to come and meet us and maybe learn a trick or two about netting? TC
  16. I don't NEED a machine, I was cutting beans before you stopped shitting yellow son. But I must admit I do enjoy using it, and I like the way they cut the beans. TC
  17. I used to do the same, but the difference after blanching is like chalk and cheese. The secret is to drop them into boiling water still frozen they come out as tender as fresh beans. I found that when we did not blanch them they were rubbery when cooked. TC
  18. Nearly everyone who has a glut of beans this time of year freezes then for winter use. The only problem with that if you have a load is the time taken to dress them before blanching. A couple of years ago I bought a bean slicer at a boot sale, it is the one tool I cannot be without now for slicing large quantities of beans. Have a look on ebay search for spong bean slicer they are going for silly money this time of year but in the winter they go for a couple of quid. Those beans took me less than 5 minutes to slice. TC
  19. Walshie, they do not eat because they cannot, their stomachs atrophy so it is impossible for them to eat. What does happen though is that the memory of feeding is still there and they will go through the motions of eating (taking a bunch of worms, snapping at a fly drifting past their noses etc;) Most Salmon fishermen will tell you that the longer they have been in the river the harder they are to catch, as if that feeding instinct recedes with the time they are in the river. They will also tell you you sometimes have to goad a Salmon into taking the bait, you may put a fly / spinner / bu
  20. I like the look of those pies, plenty of filling. Here is an easy jam recipe and using jam sugar there is no need to add pectin as it is in the sugar. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/326279-easy-blackberry-jam/ TC
  21. And would put love bites on her shit and gargle with her periods No he would not! But he would suck her tampon through a dirty sock though. TC
  22. If it looks like a Pear inside it's a Quince. TC
