  1. Been doing it for years, great sport with a pointer. Instead of surrounding the patch try and guess where the rabbit is going to run too and see if you can cut it off with a smaller net. I used to use a 15 yard net. Some of the drops you have to be quite imaginative as to how you set the net. Try and use the wind so that you are pushing the rabbits to run with the wind. TC

  3. What a shit house of a ref John Lacey is. He gave an All Blacks a yellow card for pulling the maul down in front of the posts, resulting scrum dropped by the All-blacks twice in front of the posts and still does not give the penalty try. TWAT TC
  4. Funnily enough I thought that when we played England, but I have a feeling that we could just pinch it tomorrow. And if we do Australia better get ready for the new Boks are a coming. TC Those "feelings" can be dangerous Al, I tend to keep those to myself.. I will put it another way then, I do not have the same sense of foreboding going in to this game as the game against the English. TC
  5. One to keep an eye on. There will be plenty like that over the winter. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-SPONGS-BEAN-SLICER-NO-632-SPONG-MADE-IN-ENGLAND-/281816143815?hash=item419d8d17c7 TC

  10. There are some really fcuked up sons of bitches on here, that's for sure. TC
  11. Funnily enough,I have only ever seen one and that must have been close to 50 years ago. What surprises me though the bird was sitting on the floor on the edge of a common and I was able to pick it up, it made no attempt to fly away. This must have been around June or July because we had dammed a stream for a swimming hole and were having a day there and a picnic. However the only trees anywhere near to where I found it was a pine wind break for the rugby pitch about half a mile away. TC
  12. WOW.................. lost for words. TC
  13. "Hooper cited for alleged foul play" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/34443308 Better news, some Welsh players available after injury. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/34447000 TC
  14. Not worth the time and effort to send away might aswell go in brass bin I suppose yeah it's not very common like it was back in the day people don't want the old fashioned looking stuff no more It has to be something special to get money for them these days. Deco or art-nouveau will fetch tidy money other than that they can all go in the scrap bin. I used to buy at auction and all the brass would go in sacks for Christmas drink money. Some brass will sell, bells especially horsey related ones and really old genuine horse brasses do sell, not for much granted but they do sell. TC
  15. I am 5'71/2" must not forget the half, as Tescos say every little counts. my boy is 6ft 4" 17 stone, the eldest daughter is 5ft 11"come to think of it I was working away a lot at that time. The youngest daughter is 5ft 5" TC
  16. These are a pair of hand made ones, have a look at what they sold for. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-PAIR-BRASS-6-CANDLESTICKS-HAND-MADE-IN-AMERICA-/151831564017?hash=item2359ddcef1 TC
  17. I could get more for them at a car boot sale I garanttee scrap brass in currently around £1.90 per kilo and they don't even weigh a kilo 20 years ago I would have given you 15 to 20 quid for them. Now I would only give a pound for them. TC Why is that mate hat was different 20 years ago please tell me mate People wanted them back then these days no one wants them unless they are special and really old. Those look as if they are mid 20th century mass produced. TC
  18. To be honest none of the home nations have played to their potential. No excuses, they have all had 4 years to prepare yet all seem lacking in one department or another. Of course this could be a ploy by the teams management to keep their top plays till they are needed, but I seriously doubt it? TC
