  1. Mat..... get it sorted mate, you promised me one of those pups (did I say that out loud, shhhhhh don't tell the mrs) looks like it's rubber gloves and turkey baster time for you my friend, I'll come round and film it, DS.... come on then......what was her solution????
  2. If we're now talking strange baits..... I know a fishery in Essex where they reckon you can't lose with left over chinese take away, lumps of sweet and sour chicken etc,
  3. We do mate and the pros all seem to be in favour of raw,
  4. JOEB.... he did say on the bottom, I still find Halibut pellets are doing the trick, hair rigged with either a method feeder or a pva stocking of small pellets,

  6. Lovely pup DS but that donkey is looking at you as if it has unsavoury thoughts on it's mind,
  7. You been following my learning curve mate??? the last 18 months or so have been great for me and the animals, since getting into raw feeding I don't know why people would want to feed dry? it maybe takes me a little longer to sort out because of the traveling to fetch my supplies (I dont live in the middle of nowhere, I just get my rmb's fro barf supplier) but its well worth it, "Romantics" of the world unite,
  8. I bought a second house at auction to renovate, the same week as we had the baby too, I must be a propper glutton for it, wouldn't change a thing now though.
  9. How old are you????? stop talking utter bollocks! I take it there's no risk then mate? Or are you referring to the dogs not needing the bones? The bones predominantly, but if you look at my previous post I already said we should follow a good hygene routine anyway, Especially with a new baby regardless of dogs. (edited to say).... Spike, sorry for sounding so short in this reply mate, thought i was replying to GB Hunter at first,
  10. I (rather My other half) had a baby last december, and I got another pup in Jan', and to date we have had no problems (contamination wise) what so ever, I feed the dogs either outside or on the kitchen floor and a, we should all be following a decent hygene routine, B, the baby would never be allowed th crawl about on the kitchen floor and c, the baby shouldn't be left to come in contact with the dogs,
  11. 1) they shouldn't as long as fed raw, I don't know anyone who has had any problems, 2) It may do, thats the only reason I feed rabbits gutted and skinned with the head off (leave all the organs/offal in though) you don't need to, just chuck em in, How old are you????? stop talking utter bollocks!
  12. I like the kennel finished in red, yellow and green, fine looking dog mate,

  14. Imsure you will find someone in your area, we have 4 volenteers at centre one is 13 years old girl & has started from the bottom & she is now capable of weighting owls & hawks correctly picking up & flying them with confidance & did her first demo with harris & barn owl. They are shown about husbandry & management before we even let them near a bird. Good Luck 13 yr old voulenteers? bugger........ hope I'm not too old at 34 then
  15. I feed on all raw, Nipper if you "can't be bothered" as you put it then there's no point keeping dogs is there? surely being bothered is a fundamental part of keeping any animal??? Collie/grey your right mate.....you do get what you pay for...... and you're paying far too much for all that ash, filler and compressed shit How is getting a scoop of dry food out of a bag any easier than pulling a turkey neck or rabbit carcase etc out of the fridge? and before harping on about how well the dogs look on the outside, some of you should think more about your dogs and whats happening on
  16. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! They're talking about football, I knew someone would let it slip,
  17. Thanks for that, I'll have a look for those titles. I was going to offer my services at a falconry centre but time is something I have little of as it is these days. (between shift work and trying to run a couple of little businesses) I'm in West Midlands by the way if there are any Falconers not too far away who wouldn't mind me popping over for a chat,
  18. So how would a "Good" deer dog learn to deal with one without prior experience?
  19. set up a free account with www.photobucket.com then load your pictures onto it if you manage that easily enough, pm me and I'll talk you through putting them on the site,
  20. Hi All, I'm not thinking about buying a BOP yet (not just yet anyway) but I wanted to learn more about the subject, I'm of the mind that a person should learn as much as possible about a subject before entering into it, especially where animals are concerned. On that note could anyone recomend any good books or dvd's on the subject from an educational point of view, or if anyone has any for sale (or dvd's i could copy) could you drop me a line, Cheers,
  21. Of course I would............................Let her drag my beer home for me! then slam the door shut and bolt it 16 times, lol
