  5. the sport is ruined by the activities of some of the tramps involved in hunting ..i cant understand why folk speak to landowners in an offensive and insulting way...its the farmers that have the last say on who can and cant access his land ..and if a farmers a c**t ,i bet theres a bloody good reason from past experiences...i spoke to a bloke who courses with travellers and they have been told to stay out on numerous occasions and have been pulled over by the cops on manys a time for running dogs in around cattle and his home ...no regard or thought for anyone ...well his son has taken over now

  8. An email sent into the minister this evening after wexford coursing clubs normal Sunday delaing with lurcher. Dear Minister O'Brien and Junior Minister Noonan, On the day that all coursing clubs released their hares back into the wild on foot of an instruction from your department, I would ask you to reconsider based on what is actually happening on the ground. To give you some background, we (Wexford & District) are a small coursing club based in the very south east corner of the county. Our preserves go primarily along the coast from Rosslare Harbour to Kilmore Quay. Over

  12. my dog pups very excitable ,but the bitch is driven (the dog hasnt seen a rabbit yet so is not switched on at all) and when i did show her sheep, she was a bit twitchy , i had to keep reminding her that mutton wasnt part of the plan, i was not relaxed at all with her tbh, and i was determined to sort it,but the 1st lock down came, work is mental the whole time, 6 days a week and i cant get a day off to work with her.hopefully over x mass i can cram a lot in lol if i have the energy
  13. just back from a local quarry with the dogs,we went out back roads and avoided all the faster routes, their having plenty of galloping and stuff but not rabbiting, they were bred soley for ferreting and a bit of gun fun,and anything else will be a plus, the dog pup i have i think is a bit of a fast lad,and the bitch isnt too bad,she had one very long run a few weeks back on a bolted rabbit and couldnt get in to it once it hit open ground, but in amongst the trees and ditch she came close a few times ..im a bit pissed off tbh i cant get out and see how the dog goes, their both fine with the ferret
  14. im cursed where i live, im in the city and have been stopped sat and sunday by the cops ,their bleeding everywhere,i was starting to get the bitch busy but all thats stopped for another few weeks ,i cant really contribute to the post as ive nothing done with them to date really ...good to hear someones having a bit of sport with one of the litter anyway
  15. as i said itsjust an opinion i have ( and an incorrect one too by the looks of it...)
  16. 15 weeks old pup ,i wouldnt feed a lot of it to very young pups,i prefer chicken and beef ,but once they hit 6 months plus ,then i horse all of the above in to them,i just found they scutter a bit with the green tripe straight from the beast...i never feed washed....as i said just my personal view,
  17. beef mince ,chicken legs, an egg once a week, tripe in small amounts,fish/tinned sardines and a half cup of soaked dog nuts for roughage ,but raw the whole way through mostly...thats my thought on it anyway
  18. No class with them cheap shitty things don lol... I hate them opinel, I've got lots of decent knives, I just lack the skill to edge em
