Anyone use these for sharpening the hunting knives, I've been given a good oil stone, from a carpenter, I've a pro Steele from a butcher, I used a leather strip from an old belt, used toothpaste as a compound rub to strop and can I get my knives sharp??.... Can I fuk..... I've watched numerous YouTube vids and tried to learn from them but I get them reasonably sharp but not so good you'd slice paper with it So I'm going down the easy route and hoping to buy one of them yokes above... Any thoughts?

  9. is not a woolen kennel coat sufficient ,in colder nights,.a good deep bed of straw/wax paper and a kennel coat ? in the winters when snow was heavy and temps .hit minus i had heat lamps on all night ,then turned em off by day and put kennel coats on till night time ,back on with the lamps..once the dogs held their weight and never lost condition i was satisfied they were sound, good quality warm food plays a large roll in the ,situation too i think

Was out 2 weeks ago with my bitch, 1st time ferreting for her, she malked a few and we caught a few, she was a bit of a disaster with the long nets but improved a little by the end of the session, the rabbits are scarce here though, all my old haunts are devoid of rabbits, so it's going to be a shitty season I reckon

  14. i havent seen my sister since last march ,shes in a convalecent home ,we talk on the phone every week but ,i cant call to see her ,no visitors,i think its crazy theres no visitors allowed ,but what can ya do...hopefully it will fade out as fast as it comes in soon

Kevlar came about when at 3 weeks old I dropped a metal cooking pot and with the clang of the metal hitting the floor, all the pups scattered in terror, but he just squatted down, I got the idea he was bulletproof....   19. i would think that running on the sands would be energy sapping ,and climbing over them dunes /sand banks would take a bit out of any dog but the 2 dogs in this vid ,kept up a regular steady pace...enjoyable to watch it was ,the strange bit was how they stood around he bush knowing the game was in there..
