Just seen on local BBC news that somebody has filmed the Fernie alledgedly illegally hunting and interfering with a badger set. Huntsman due in magistrate court. Has anybody heard anything else about this?

how far from notts matey? Depends where you are in Notts, from QMC approx 20-25 miles. Look on a map for Knipton, from Notts down the A52 and turn right when you see brown tourist signs for Belvoir castle then once you're round Belvoir it will be sign posted something like BHSC kennels open day. Hope this helps.

There must be sime rule to allow shooting without a licence. Thinking of the have a go clay shoots at country fairs etc.

Anything glyphosphate based but you will find the stuff in your local diy is only based on 120g/l where as if you go to a farm suppliers you can get stuff that is 360 g/l. Although it usually comes in bigger containers ie 5 litre it works out loads cheaper than weaker stuff in the diy stores.

Had a good day on the rats around a sheep farm.

Just be careful around bales. The chances of your dogs getting to a rat in bales are slim at the best of times and you never know what else they might meet in them. Try looking round old stacks of wood, along ditches and any piles of rubbish lying around. All the best getting some permission.
