Yes,I went 30 odd years ago but back then there was no internet so was unaware of the leopard density in Yala,my sis did a lion walk a few years back in Kenya but didn’t see a leopard,hope this is her chance.

I do remember reading it may have been the Spanish colonial influence as the Philippines (named after king philip of spain) is also a bit dodgy,but in reality I think the cruelty began long before cortez reached Mexico.

Look at the old skin rituals,both mayan and and aztec,they would skin people alive,bleed their own children to death,rip out hearts,during one "Celebration/ritual" over a few days I think they sacrificed 80k people?Cartels are a bunch of puffs in comparison,Mexico has always been a bit violent.
