I spoke to two Ukrainians a month or so back,refugee immigrants in their late 20’s or early 30’s both worked in construction here and neither had a desire to return permanently to their homeland,both had family or knew people who had died in the conflict.

13 year old girl killed here maybe 3? weeks back while on a ski trip.My younger son enjoys snowboarding when he comes up,I remember when skiing was the pastime of the middle and upper classes,now all of us plebs can get on the slopes

I read an article a few weeks back about Filipinos fighting for Russia,they were on a thousand dollars a month,one was squashed I think his family got $4000 the other was captured.I have met a few Ukrainian guys in their 20’s and 30’s who are here as refugees.Gamerooster is alive and still sounding the dawn,he was on here recently.

Never too late for you to do anything mel,a place in can recommend close to the UK is chamonix its ski central,first place I ever tried to ski was in India and I wasn't really into it,I have done cross country skiing which is big over here the neighbours are all into it,my lady is a skier and a snowboarder,its second nature to her,beats lying on a beach as a vacation.
