  1. Nah, just frustrates me when people go on about the most expensive being the best. And not just airguns either Take one of my lads, I get teeshirts for a few quid for 3, he won't pay less than 15 quid for 1 and mine generally last much longer than his, but he refuses to buy them (not even for work) just because they don't have a lable on em We've all known the :wankerzo4: 's at the local range, who buy a gun, can't hit a barn door from 15 paces so they must go out and buy a much more expensive gun/scope combo; Resulting him still not being able to hit the same barn door from the same d
  2. I don't know of any myself pal, however I'm sure if you follow this link you will be able to find one. http://www.airgunscotland.org/forums/index.php?act=home Good Luck Phantom
  3. LOL MTP Feel for yah, I was out for hours on Saturday, not single shot presented, talk about demoralizing I got chilled to the core, soaking wet and truely fecked off I would have prefered a clean miss than a total no-show. At least you got the adreneline rush when you got to aim at a couple Phantom
  4. Nah You know what? Whaddiya say, lets annoy the mods with the optics and mounts question instead of the :db: What calibre question :db: :11: Phantom
  5. I know that, You know that, everyone else knows that, but someone says you buy cheap, you have to buy twice.............. Phantom
  6. Not according to a certain Farmer from South Yorks Can you tell that comment wound me up a little bit? Okay enough is enough, I'll leave it there like a good boy should Phantom
  7. The reason for a round/domed pellet retaining its velocity is its weight as I understand it. If it was purely down to the shape of the head, then a pointed pellet would (theoretically) be superior. The weight up front is one of the reasons that BisMags are so hard hitting, they retain more energy. Flat heads are certainly good for up close, but I've known some people (including John D) mention the merits of hunting with them. Phantom
  8. I think he means you need to buy another cheapo scope  Phantom
  9. :11: Perhaps if He'd used capital letter at the start of the sentance I would not need to goto specsavers . Nah I wasn't having a go at Aaron (I'm usually the one defending him from some of the :wankerzo4: 's on here My most sincere appologies if it came accross like that I'm just sticking my oar in for the sake of debate However, my beast has a 3-9x40 SMK mildot scope sat on top that is pretty good except at the higher mag where the image becomes a little milky. And yes I will be changing it soon for a betterone So I'm in partial agreement with Aaron about the scope.
  10. Why avoid SMK Aaron Mine is superb and you've seen the results that baby produces. Just because they are cheap, does not make them useless. Granted some earlier goods were less than satisfactory, but the Model XS series (Mine is the XS-19) is certainly fantastic value for money and its a very good all rounder that hits as hard as most guns three times the price. Come to think of it, its more powerful than my S200 (must get a chrony and up the power of the S200) The only reason I dont use it as much now is its impractical to do anything but snipe over the warrens until the foliage gr
  11. Hey Jasper, what the ell did you hit him with? Looks like a bomb went off in his head with all that juice Nice shot Phantom
  12. Nice going gents Had a darn sight more productive time than me Phantom
  13. Deffo not me, I don't sign my posts like that either! Phantom
  14. On a more serious note: After taking my sleeping tablet on top of copious amounts of strong continental at 10 ish last night, my wife informs me I was out of my skull in less than 20 minutes and spilled a full can of lager all over myself and the rug in the lounge What a waste of perfectly good booze Somehow I managed to get up the stairs and :lazy: on the floor in the bedroom I woke up at just before 07:00 and felt like I had a going off in the noggin every few seconds and every time I tried to move. Then the wife started! it felt like So stayed at home till I felt better,
  15. :censored: Im glad my wife didn't see this a few seconds ago, I'd have had my entrails ripped out I knew I was out of my tree last night but that was well after 22:00 In fact if it hadn't been for the spelling; the typo's and the smiley I would have almost believed that I HAD written that Right come on guy's WHO's Trying to get me in bother with the missus? Sean?, Sporting Shooter? Grim? Come on own up Phantom :clapper:
  16. Dont know about funny, F ing little B s more like I got out today, I'll put up the results on the Woohoooooo thread Phantom
  17. My pass is best described as "fook off an leave me alone c**t, shoot as many bunnies as you wan just dont bring em back here" My reply was 'I was planning on doing you a new bunny bikini darling, complete with entrails to use as tie bands. and if it gets rotten then youll just have to wear your growler for all of ust to sniff, oops" see in all its glory. Failing that she could just jump on my cock and have very energetich bouncy banging If she dont want that then I am sure ther may be other borads who want a good rodgering ffromt he cottan tail assassin ;~) Tony
  18. Yep I aint seen a fluffy fecker since the temp dropped to minus figures. A Golf Course without bunnies is unheard of Im hoping for a day above freezing tomorrow for some bunny bashing Phantom
  19. Bismags (assuming they are what are used) are domed Phantom
  20. Oh boy am I looking forward to tomorrow Been on metcheck.com and the weather is looking okally dokilly for a bunny bashing session for tomorrow Yeehaaaa at last the temperature is above freezing so I hope to get out early and put an end to some of the bunny frolicking in both the paddock and the cemetery And Sunday the romantic Valentines Day also looks good with some good clear sunshine around dinner time So hopefully I will be introducing some Lead Love to the Corvids and hopefully maybe I will be falling in love with the taste of Collard Dove or Woodie for tea Wish
  21. That looks familiar (well sort of) Have a word with Grim Reaper (where the above originally came from?) on here. I used his template and adjusted the wording to suit the application (a cemetery no less!!) and it proved perfect (although it took a number of months to actually get the reply!) Phantom
  22. I have heard both sides of the argument. I own a Chinese Spring rifle (SMK Mod XS19 not the B2) and I have litterally put one Pellet up the skirt of another Pellet with it and fused the said pellets into one chunk of lead As long as I have been consistant, it has also been consistant Its been responsible for quite a few dead bunnies out and past 35 yards. I've not had any propblems with it I prefer the AA S200 when sniping and for serious paper punching, but for shooting from standing at quarry I like my chinese springer Phantom
  23. If its a standard thread, then yes you can add any standard threaded silencer If its not, then either an adaptor or perhaps modify the silencer you use. Phantom
  24. RESULT In this day and age, a happy customer is a returning customer yeah? and a shop keep (no matter if he's a one man band or a multistore conglomerate) will do all they can to keep a customer. My Grandfather and his relatives were shop keepers and their 1st rule (even when my bitch of a mother tried to prove different) was, in his words "Your customer is the only one who is right, EVEN when (not if, but when) you know full well they are wrong!" Wise words from an old soldier who made a lot of money when he left the service Phantom
  25. Superb, it didn't even get to open its wings You swept it straight off its feet I just clicked on the spot in the vid a couple or three times and it looks like its doing a jiggy dance Phantom
