  4. Southern Ireland: This seems a good read starting at post three (3) http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=204324 Northern Ireland: http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2004/04em0702.htm Now what I find interesting in that document is it states that a Great Britain Resident may hold an airgun without a permit! Are people in Northern Ireland not citizens of Great Britain? Phantom
  5. James, Where are you Southern or Northern Ireland? Laws are totally different regarding Airguns Phantom
  6. Isn't that what I was trying to say? Seriously though, no one can argue with that statement Edgar I have always said its entirely down to ones own Personal Preferance Funnilly I actually have no preferance for either cal I use .22's for hunting, because its what I have available; if my S200 had been a .177, then that would be cal for hunting. I got the .22 version just because the rifle that I had been offered happened to be a .22. If it had been a .177 then I would have taken it just as easily as I did the .22 and I would have learn't its little peculiarities just as I hav
  7. Said in the best Seven of Nine Voice (man is she hot Hot HOT) Resistance is futile indeed, but the force that is "lack o' brass" is so very strong in me So I shall not sucombe to the Dark Side until I defeat the Evil force that rules my life at the moment. Phantom
  8. I know what Tris is saying I've been there a few times and its 'uncomfortable' to say the least Nice one Bill; Thats worth a couple of SP's for the offer and refusing to take a 'no' Alas I can only give one SP, which I have Phantom

  15. Stealthy, Half the sodding bunnies in there are ZOMBIES
  16. Thats true They used to have a guy ferreting years ago, but the new vicar is somewhat of a bunny hugger! I bypassed her and went to the archdeacon and he told her to put it up for the council vote. Most people were against me shooting them saying it was cruel A few then suggested that ferrets be used again instead and one of the council members pointed out that a pellet in the brain would be more "Humane" than having a ferret rip the rabbits to pieces while they were alive They all agreed that the damage being caused was becoming so severe that it was only a matter of time before
  17. The Church won't allow Ferreting or Snares. I'd had the warrens filled in a couple of times but they still keep diggin and repopulating. I'd suggest Concrete but they wont pour it down into the graves. Still it keeps me occupied Phantom
  18. Why thanking you kind Sir Darryl Phantom
  19. Thats easy BL Down the bottom right of his post there is a number with a green button and a '+' sign next to it. click the button and hey presto you've given him a slut point Phantom
  20. PMSL Bill, Where do you get them from, too much time on your hands and Google? When I say Medical, it was actually more of a discussion with the noggin doctor He left me totally confused He asked me why I was on such a high dose of the meds I'm on he should fecking know, he was the one that prescribed em to me Then he decided to cut them by 50% and add a different type of sleeper, that I already have built up a tolerance to So he thinks that these will get me to sleep, even though I used to take these at four times the dose he's putting me on now Question is
  21. I can suggest a couple of the very best 'All-Rounders' for you. These are: Air Arms Fields in either 5.50, 5.51 or 5.52 mm (that tiny fraction of a mm can actually make a difference) FX Pellets in 5.52mm Most guns seem to get on well with these pellets Ones I can reccomend that you stay clear of are: Milbro Caledonions and Marksman pointed as well as the plastic bodied alloy nose and core jobs. Phantom
  22. Looks lovely Comming home from a medical in Beverley today by train, I couldn't believe the fields that we passed, they were heaving with bunnies just laid out sunning themselves next to the rails. I'd love to be a bunny controller for the rail company I'd need at leat 4 tins of pellets for that little stretch of track Puts bunnyland to shame (hope to get out there tommorrow) Phantom
  23. Hit there, Accuracy, the gun will outshoot the shooter any day of the week Killing range same as any other non FAC, 25 to 35 yards for your average airgunner, more for an airgun marksman. Don't go for more though; until you have become one with the gun and it becomes an extension of your 'self' Phantom
  24. SP for cuzin Billy for nice bit o woody whacking and Uncle Stealthy for givin out sound advice Phantom
