  1. The Hatsan mod 60 is maketed as an Egar Brothers mod 60. Your right, for the pretty low price its a decent rifle, the only thing that stoped me from buying when I came back to shooting was the trigger was a little rough (or so I was told). But as far as accuracy and ME goes, its more than capable a good choice overall How long have you been shooting bud? Phantom
  2. As long as your reason is genuine I'm happy with it. I can be similar, A member on here thought I was Asian when he saw my previous avatar Give me 5 minutes in the sun and I've been through all sorts of abuse in certain areas. The guy's in here are genuine, we do our best to get shut of the ones that begin to try to cause trouble my comment about our Jamboree is because this section has been labled "The boy scouts of the THL" Welcome aboard :welcomeani: Phantom
  3. A post about racism in an airgun forum Sorry buddy, but thats just plain not on not in our Jamboree Phantom
  4. You should see what he did to his S200 below I've begged him to do it to mine, but its a purebred one off so he won't I didn't believe it was an S200 to start with; really had to do a double take Looks superb don't it. Phantom
  5. Yep, most times we are right Nice going
  6. Welcome back Darryl, I take it you've finished shooting those scantily clad ladies Any chance of a few of their numbers? Phantom
  7. A second shot from your rifle was probably much faster than running for the bugger I want a 10 shot conversion for just that very reason. It dont happen often; but if a second shot was required just once a year then its worth the pennies Phantom
  8. Good to hear it Now go get the camera Phantom
  9. Davy, for your never ending endevours for us all; I've given you an SP for each part as you are an inspiration to us all I'm sure Si will agreen when he gets back from his weekend camping Phantom
  10. Excellent Davy, And like me I am sure the rest of the guy's appreciate the effort your putting in for us all :notworthy: Phantom
  11. Nice video intro to the permission Davy I'm beginning to feel left out, not using video like you and Si. Must update my arsenal to include a DVC Phantom
  12. I've never done it before, so I would begin by reading the instructions Phantom
  13. Depends on how far you are from your target and how fast you can run I've managed to hit, realize all was not perfect and run and finish the job in a matter of less than 10 seconds. The longest was when I dropped a 60+ yard bunny. I walked through the cemetery and found it still breathing Must have taken a couple of minutes or there abouts because I thought it was down and out. Pellet had hit the neck where I was aiming, just slightly forward. Why do you ask? Phantom
  14. Ohhhh you poor man, Three and a half hours of being dragged (Kicking and Screaming I hope? its a man thing) around the shops You have my sympathy Phantom
  15. Another interesting video To me, what that video shows is just how unstable they are in flight Almost every pellet shows a damaged section at its impact point, but every one the damage was on a different part of the pellet, which suggests the pellet is "Tumbling" into the target. I have done a few impact tests with various pellets all against various surfaces, such as my ballistic putty backstop and against steel. This is one of the cheapest pellets on the market, Milbro caledonion. The 1st image shows the views from the sides. Left a Milbr_cal unfired. Middle one fired int
  16. I'll point you here Martin http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/164896-lamping-v-night-vision/page__pid__1665547#entry1665547 Phantom
  17. Thank you Sean, Much appreciated Phantom
  18. Night Vision gear is getting better and better all the time sounds like you were using generation 1 gear. Gen 2 was a big step in the rightdirection, and Gen three even better Although available to the military, Gen 4 is not available to tJo Public, but hell its ruddy good, damnd expensive but ruddy good! Stick with lamping til Gen 3 becomes as cheap as a lamp (50 years maybe) then buy the gear Phantom
  19. Nah, PCP's are the best for hunting; due to the removal of recoil. thus increase in accuracy I'd shoot my springer all day long if I had the land to do it on. Much more a sense of achievement when the quarry goes down with a springer Phantom
  20. :cray: :cray: :cray: :cray: :cray: In case you aint noticed, its been CANCELLED Davy knows why and I'm thouroughly fecked off by it :cray: :cray: The tent is a very low profile one man job that can withstand 4 inches of surface water. It's been described as a Coffin! Anyone at the meet saw it Phantom
  21. Look awfully skinny to me Reckon you starved em to death mesen Nice numbers though, suppose the extra lead helped em gain weight
  22. That was gunna be my line GIT
  23. That is what happens when the Cerabellum remains intact The Cerabellum (little brain or the section nearest or is what we used to call the brain stem) is what controls the "Living" part, ie breathing, metabolism etc... It has nothing to do wit the "Higher Brain functions such as thought, alertness feeling etc) I like to shoot at or very near the cerabellum. thats when you get the roll over in the oposite direction to you and the bunny sometimes doesn't even raise its leg and wave. To me that is the finest of all the shots (the holey grail of the hunter) totally dead before it even begins t
