  1. Darkside = Elite Killers who only use posh guns that the rest of us can't afford :11: I won't purchase anymore from JSR. Although they were very good at getting my order to my doorstep within 24 hours of placing it, but I dont like the idea of not being able to talk to someone over the phone and like the idea even less of using a PO Box. Phantom
  2. Welcome back to the wonderful world of airgunning Phantom
  3. This is quite an old thread guy's I did a write up on this called "My on off on off permission" The woman who asked me to do the bunnies sent me a text t'other day thanking me for my efforts and will call me again when she needs me. Her husband has purchased an old springer so he can have a go at them himself I saw his target that hed left up from his practice session. The bunnies will be safe for a long time to come if he's going to be shooting them! I don't suppose they'll even move if he's shooting at them lol So I'm just waiting for her to call me again Phanto
  4. Cheers for that Paddy, saved me a lot of looking. I was sure it was something along those lines. I also remember that its actually illegal to shoot them on Xmas day? Wher I come up with this is beyond me, but its in the noggin somewhere Phantom

  7. Bunnies beware That aint half bad there John for such a long time without a springer its pretty fecking good I'm looking forward to your write ups and the pic's of bunnies with lead in their head Phantom
  8. SPOT ON Nathan You have to; by law adhere to the terms of the General License's There was a case not long back where a guy was prosecuted for shooting a Woodie in his yard. Although I think he was done for cruelty (as he failed to kill the bird and it suffered for quite a while) but they could have easily done him for not adhering to the laws regarding vermin control. Having said that, do you have nosey neighbours? Jac: You need another mount on that scope hun Phantom
  9. Shay, have an SP for the effort bud Although I must admit, I hate the realtree on a gun Just don't do it for me, sorry Question is though, what other gems you got in that there lof of yours, seem to remember you finding a brand new NV set up in there a couple of weeks back :11: Phantom

  12. Hears another thread that links to the post. Start at post 5 and follow the link. You will get some ideas http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/161573-woodis/page__p__1630513__hl__%2Bultra+%2Bviolate+%2Bspectrum__fromsearch__1#entry1630513 Phantom
  13. Go back a couple of pages, there was the same (or very similar question asked the other day) It certainly can be done. Dead Birds work a treat, also there is a useful tip regarding how they see in the Ultra-Violate Spectrum. I put a longish post on the subject a while ago, I'll see if I can find it and link to it. Phantom
  14. Actually, thinking about it, I seem to remember it being legal to kill, but only being illegal to SELL Brown Hare at certain times of the year? Gawd my merory is attrocious at the moment must be all this wall bashing I've been doing :11: I'll have a search later to clarify matters for myself (unless I forget of course lol) Phantom PS if someone wants to point me in the direction of the documentation and save me the agro of searching myself, please feel free to do so

  17. LOL..... I have a friend over in the Bradford Area who wanted to deal with JSR in person. They wouldn't speak to him, because he wanted to go and collect his supply of pellets from them and thus save a fortune on delivery. He litterally lives only minutes from the JSR Shed!! (no not a wharehouse or office building it IS or WAS a Shed in the guy's back garden!!) You will be very lucky to get a phone number (although they did have one years ago) for them. Even the address is not they're registered address, its now a PO box number. They sell a lot of stuff on eBay, perhaps you can ge
  18. Cheers Mal, checked the kits over today and not a sign of the things we discussed Phantom
  19. Chair Gun Pro from Hawke Optics. http://www.chairgun.com/ Looks complicated, but is really easy to use the Visualisations are superb Download it and install. Most on here will reccomend it Phantom
  20. Tricky this one I was always under the impression that crows (and other Corvids) were the first to rise and the last to roost Until last week! I was at a permission doing a clearance job of bunnies over night. The Woodies seemed to be the first up followed by the crows 45ish mins later. I have no ideas as to what time they crows roost thought, as I thought the area barren of crows, until they started making a noise in the morning! Phantom
  21. I used to eat the bunnies, until I started knocking over the diseased ones from the cemy Won't touch it now, the thoughts of thse Tapeworms groing in my intestine just makes me ill maybee after getting a lot of fresh, healthy bunnies, I'll start eating them again Phantom
  22. An LRF is certainly a good investment I've only had a mine a few weeks and its proved its worth its weight in platinum You won't have chance to laze each and every shot though. I got mine for ranging various spots in my fire-zone. Couple an LRF with your scope and CGP, and it makes a superb rig. Makes a lot of things so much easier and of course helps you learn distances across varying terrain. Si (Zini) does not need an LRF, he IS ONE A few weeks ago, I was shooting with him and he mentioned a spot of chalk on a hill and said "What doe's your LRF make that over there?
  23. PLEASE don't mention the For Sale section I just can't afford to take even the tinyest glimpse in there Phantom
  24. You know we have a lot in common (apart from the crotch rockets thing)
