The best one is"If you let them hunt on top and work cover youll end up digging rabbits with them".All my dogs have chased and bushed rabbits from day one as where i live is plastered with rabbits but as soon as a rabbit goes down a hole or the pups sniff at a rabbit hole a stearn "leave it"and they're on their way.That way they know rabbits are a no no to ground.Ive dug plenty of terriers over the years though that are never aloud off the lead because they're digging dogs because when they do smell a rabbit close by in an earth its new and exciting to them.Ive got a mate who only ever keeps 1

Seen it happen a few times with mates dogs because the lads always seem to have an excuse as to why they cant give their dogs a walk.Whereas littermates or stuff ive had from the same blood that get the chance to have a good run and hunt up everyday wont even enter or search an empty spot or even stop to sniff at an entrance.

I think like with the red bitch i put the pic up of which seemed to start this subject its most common in dogs that the only time they get out of the kennel is to go digging.Poor fuckers end up stir crazy.

Its called a domination collar.Its almost like a kind of chocker thats used during training to get the attention or break bad habits with a very strong willed dog.First time i saw one I thought what the f**k is that gunna do but used correctly they really do work.

The lad knows exactly what the dog is and treats it accordingly. Like he says"If the dog is with me its because nobody is meant to be getting within 6ft and if they do they're getting it".He does a lot of security,eviction work where theres a very high chance of violence.

My pals old bandog.Always placed top 3 in protection trials even though he didnt start competing untill he was 9years old and barely does any protection training and was just a pet till my mate got him aged about 6years.Even blowing profesional security dogs out of the water and imo the only reason he never got a 1st was dog world politics.The dog has also saved my pals skin in a few real life sticky situations and has proven hes not just a sleeve happy sport dog.Blue bitch is his daughter to a pure neo.

To be fair mate most of the true bandogs that ive been around and trained with are quite safe to be around and are very stable headed.Its them malis and herders i dont trust as them fuckers dont care who the bite they just seem hard wired from birth to bite anything that moves quickly.Ive worn a sleeve a few times as a favour for mates but i dont really enjoy doing it as ive seen a few accidents happen with proffesional decoys.When youve felt the power of them big dogs throught a hard sleeve it make you realise that if one of them got you for real there is no way you are doing anything about i

No mate.Im not really one for recording stuff as i dont like having stuff on my phone of them doing bite work or anything that could be used against me if a situation went wrong one day.Quite a few of the lads i know are constantly sticking stuff on fb which i keep telling them could come back and bite them on the arse.I dont think its going to be long before there will be a big crackdown on people doing bitework/protection taining.Nobody in my village even knows what my big dog is or what shes capable of they just think shes a big old dopey mutt that bounds about a plays with their little dog

A real nice Bandog male that ive trained with quite regularly.Very rare to see such good structure and movement in such a powerful dog.Youd definately think twice about going in anywhere that this boy was looking after.

Not sure mate but i know that Steve likes to put big drivey working line males on what he calls pet/show females that have been fully health/temperament tested to get pups that can adapt to any lifestyle.He showed me a portrait of a dog in his house of one of his dogs from the early 80s that he said was his perfect idea of what a shepherd should be.He said it wasnt working line or European line etc it was just a shepherd.He said the dog worked during the Brixton riots, football riots,could be walked through a busy market or go into a primary school and be petted by kids and then go home at nig

The met police tried using mali's and mali crosses but scrapped it as they wern't suited to being stuck in a box in the back of a car for 7hrs out of a 8hr shift.The guy i know who ran the met police breeding programme said that even a lot of the Eastern European bloodline Shepherds wernt suited to it as they'd just spend the whole shift spinning round and round in the box barking constantly.
