How much work has she done? this time last season she'd of been 7months, and the weather cut short last season Your never going to see the best of this bitch she's hardly mature at 19 months and they're never the same after a litter Y.I.S Leeview
  6. ferret-land can you enlighten myself as to these qualifications you have regarding ferrets? Please You claim that the likes of people on here pass on their ferrets to you and your rescue/breeding establishment there are 2 pinned topics at the top of this forum for members to pass on their surplus stock which seem quite adequate Your comments about enlightening us what you feed your ferret? and where we are going wrong Now feeding a complete ferret food and meat Does nt that unbalance their diet? with far too much protein intake? Ever heard protein poisoning? A quick Google found that:V
  7. The 'expert' in question being yourself I take it? Just what we need, another ferret rescue messiah here to preach to the masses.... There's people on here who have kept long lived ferrets all their lives, 20, 30, 40 & even 50 years in a few cases... If you want to correct people and try to educate, try to do it without coming across as if you know better than everybody... I've had ferrets a mighty long time and they are fed on the best and thats FLESH not stingy by any means I feed them as any carnivore would eat in the wild naturally I've said it before and probably will
  8. Hi CK, I do them similar to bud but I start with 8on the ring tnen increase at each end of every other row,as bud says knit 2onto the first and the same on the last mesh these additional meshes will be only half meshes till the next row thats not increased I start with 8-10-10-12-12-14-14-16-16-18-18-18-18-16-16-14-14-12-12-10-10-8-8 using a21/4 meshboard this makes a 4'6" net that when you extend the middle of the net the rings will come together and you'll still have a bit of bag in your hand Y.I.S Leeview

  13. There is a lot of differences in stone walls in the dales some are literally stone on stone, that you can see through and the wind blows straight through them, rabbits will go through or over them. Then there is the double sided walls very substantial with an inner cavity usally with smaler stones in the middle of them these are the ones that rabbits can and do live in that you would want for your visit Good Luck Y.I.S Leeview
  14. im talking more about how their physical attributes work together not their mental drive. agility, speed etc. the style in which they work. to me if your going to breed a dog/s that are going to catch a hare you can either choose to do it with speed or distance. when your breeding a dog thats ment to run as a pair, your selection criteria would be diferent to someone who is trying to breed a one out dog. giving up turning for speed for example. which would be a fault in a single handed dog, over shooting through a turn looses the dog alot of ground. but in a pair its not a fault because the se
