  1. Fair comment but was nt one of the first acts David Cameron did was freeze MP's wages? Y.I.S Leeview
  2. OK I've read through these replies and I'd just like to ask what will happen to Community Service as handed out to individuals as a punishment by the courts? Afterall these demeaning tasks(picking up litter and cleaning graffiti) were meant to undermine their civil liberties as a punishment for getting caught and sparing them serving time inside. So are they putting Law breakers and the unemployed in the same pigeon hole? Y.I.S Leeview
  3. If he was a true mate he'd be giving you a pup free not cheap Y.I.S Leeview
  4. i go and take some pic later mate yea its such a nice felling there back in there pens but they were is such a state cuts flees.ect but so happy to get them back.and they cant tell me were the were or from .hope there dead tho lol this dog is a give away at that price i give a lot for him Glad you got your dogs back and sorry they're in such a state does nt look likely you'll get them fit and ready for this winter so why sell a dog that looks fit enough to run and give you a dog to run while your others are getting right? 6. £2ea for four inch nets is that with rings or sliders? Y.I.S Leeview
  7. ...another clever sales pitch Y.I.S Leeview
  8. a very clever sales pitch 8 can's and 2may's to scare you OK we once found a sandy hob out on a grouse moor caught in a fenn by the back leg, we removed it from the fenn obviously its leg appeared broken but turned out just badly swollen, now this hob was covered in ticks. My mate took him home and gave him some oral antibiotic(baytril)1.5 I called round straight from work the next night there was nt a tick to be seen and he recovered but always had a limp So the Baytril had gone through his system including his blood which the ticks feed on and they baled out was the only conclusion we co
  9. Tape worm cysts would be my guess without seeing a picture Y.I.S Leeview
  10. as Stones has said we refer to them as poke nets, the french call them Boules Y.I.S Leeview
  11. Bull in post 4 you mention pups at £1500, without doubt people will pay that why? because a bitch does nt always have just one pup, so a bitch having 4 pups x£1500 and they see it as quids in and will have a second and third litter possibly with not a jot of a thought for the breed that your mate has IMHO Y.I.S Leeview
  12. she is 4 years old mate Well here goes Richie198 IMHO the bitch was nt old enough when you mated her, she was good by your own admission but she would of got even better by this season and next when she naturally would of peaked 4-5yrs old and held her condition a while longer after that age Having a litter of pups takes a lot out of a bitch and not many perform as well after a litter as they did before it, think about the muscles how they have been stretched through carrying the litter? she may of got her shape back but as you are noticing shes not quite as good as she was Y.I.S Leevie
  13. How old is your bitch? as I did nt see that mentioned Y.I.S Leeview
  14. Cheers DUCKWING for clearing that up Where I grew up the hare was always called Sally or Puss and they were always SHE since moving south I find they're known as Hartley but still SHE As for the GANZIE I cant recall the last time I saw a half decent one ood Luck Y.I.S Leeview
  15. Your 2 best workers the may of bolted 100's of rabbits but how many have they left in sets? I expect a set to be empty when my ferrets come out Y.I.S Leeview
  16. classic quote though The One just because a ferret enters a rabbit hole does nt make it a worker far from it Y.I.S Leeview
  17. DUCKWING permission is something I've never been short of and obviously there is a difference twixt daytime and nighttime netting I must have little knowledge BUT preparation/planning played a big part watching hares enter and leave a field pays dividends Is "pad marks" a local remark to where you are? hares and rabbits as Im sure your aware dont have pads Good Luck Y.I.S Leeview

    mesh

14 meshes+ a selvedge top and bottom making 16 meshes for myself Y.I.S Leeview
  19. I had a customer complaining of rabbits in his walled garden, above ground signs made the warren look empty, put two yes TWO jills in, let them run through every hole and NOTHING,did this quite a few times to be sure, just before walking to the next part, I thought Id let "ted" have a run through, as it was rather a hot day, and he fills up the carry box, within seconds of entering him, THREE rabbits bolted In the above scenario are you still of the opinion that all ferrets will work? Y.I.S Leeview
  20. Are they this years kits? if so they will lose weight and slim down over the winter and look sleeker come spring Y.I.S Leeview
  21. Deep dig stand well back good day well done sounds if a couple of stop nets might of come in handy Y.I.S Leeview
  22. "we dont mind digging" seems Danny likes to do it all LOL Y.I.S Leeview
  23. 14 meshes plus a selvedge top and bottom is adequate but start of on a loop of cord and when you've done a few rows remove the cord and carry on knitting Y.I.S Leeview
  24. Duckwing your only slightly confusing me I gave my views and asked you for yours I too have hunted the hare pre-ban the length and breadth of England. No dogs were (or very seldom) used to drive the hare forward to the nets often 7-800yds in a line interspersed with stop nets(at right angles) to catch any that tried to run the nets and these nets never were fixed down just hung by the topline OK back to the gate nets the fields I gate netted on had drystone walls around them and not many had 2 gates in them. Good Luck Y.I.S Leeview
  25. A GATE NET TO MYSELF IS USED ON THE BOTTOM OF A GATE DRAPED OVER THE BOTTOM FOOT OF IT AND A STOP NET CAN BE USED IN AN OPEN GATEWAY OR A SIMILAR GAP "HOW WOULD I NET AN AREA DEVOID OF HEDGES" SIMPLY I WOULD USE WHAT WAS APPROPRIATE TO DO THE JOB BUT PRAY TELL HOW A FEW GATE NETS AND A COUPLE OF SQUARE MESHED 6FT NETS COVER HOW MUCH AREA? "STONES ON A GATE" NOW YOUR CONFUSING MYSELF IMHO THE SAID GATE NET COLLAPSES BALLING A HARE IN IT AND YOUR TELLING THAT YOU HAVE CAUGHT 3OR4 FROM THE SAME GATEWAY IN MINUTES NOW FAIR ENOUGH BUT HARES ARE VERY VOCAL UNDER STRESS AND OTHERS WILL PANIC AND
