    OK I've read through these replies and I'd just like to ask what will happen to Community Service as handed out to individuals as a punishment by the courts? Afterall these demeaning tasks(picking up litter and cleaning graffiti) were meant to undermine their civil liberties as a punishment for getting caught and sparing them serving time inside.     a very clever sales pitch 8 can's and 2may's to scare you OK we once found a sandy hob out on a grouse moor caught in a fenn by the back leg, we removed it from the fenn obviously its leg appeared broken but turned out just badly swollen,now this hob was covered in ticks.     she is 4 years old mate Well here goes Richie198 IMHO the bitch was nt old enough when you mated her, she was good by your own admission but she would of got even better by this season and next when she naturally would of peaked 4-5yrs old and held her condition a while longer after that age Having a litter of pups takes a lot out of a bitch and not many perform as well after a litter as they did before it, think about the muscles how they have been stretched through carrying the litter? she may of got her shape back but as you are noticing shes not quite as good as she was Y.I.S Leevie

    DUCKWING permission is something I've never been short of and obviously there is a difference twixt daytime and nighttime netting I must have little knowledge BUT preparation/planning played a big part watching hares enter and leave a field pays dividends Is "pad marks" a local remark to where you are? hares and rabbits as Im sure your aware dont have pads Good Luck Y.I.S Leeview

    I had a customer complaining of rabbits in his walled garden, above ground signs made the warren look empty, put two yes TWO jills in, let them run through every hole and NOTHING,did this quite a few times to be sure, just before walking to the next part, I thought Id let "ted" have a run through, as it was rather a hot day, and he fills up the carry box, within seconds of entering him, THREE rabbits bolted In the above scenario are you still of the opinion that all ferrets will work?     Duckwing your only slightly confusing me I gave my views and asked you for yours I too have hunted the hare pre-ban the length and breadth of England. No dogs were (or very seldom) used to drive the hare forward to the nets often 7-800yds in a line interspersed with stop nets(at right angles) to catch any that tried to run the nets and these nets never were fixed down just hung by the topline OK back to the gate nets the fields I gate netted on had drystone walls around them and not many had 2 gates in them.     A GATE NET TO MYSELF IS USED ON THE BOTTOM OF A GATE DRAPED OVER THE BOTTOM FOOT OF IT AND A STOP NET CAN BE USED IN AN OPEN GATEWAY OR A SIMILAR GAP "HOW WOULD I NET AN AREA DEVOID OF HEDGES" SIMPLY I WOULD USE WHAT WAS APPROPRIATE TO DO THE JOB BUT PRAY TELL HOW A FEW GATE NETS AND A COUPLE OF SQUARE MESHED 6FT NETS COVER HOW MUCH AREA? "STONES ON A GATE" NOW YOUR CONFUSING MYSELF IMHO THE SAID GATE NET COLLAPSES BALLING A HARE IN IT AND YOUR TELLING THAT YOU HAVE CAUGHT 3OR4 FROM THE SAME GATEWAY IN MINUTES NOW FAIR ENOUGH BUT HARES ARE VERY VOCAL UNDER STRESS AND OTHERS WILL PANIC AND
