  4. you going to make one yourself? I had a bit of land that had a big old fallen cherry tree on it, would have lent itself to that. Where I am now theres nothing substantial enough, but am looking around for a new place to call home. Looked at one place last week with a few hectares, but not enough of it being woodland, but the wood that was there had 3 badger settes in it, only one with any recent workings though, but looked a peach. Also been looking at a nice lake, stunning, but not enough land around it some nice specimen trees around it though. There is a guy near to me that I wou

  12. Well I've read through this post last night and tonight, some posts a lot more interesting than others I first met Frank Buck at the Bramham Moor terrier show in the late 60's common place in those days for the judge to wear a suit and bowler hat, that would probably my first sight of a patterdale, I saw him at the Great Yorks in the eighties when Tony Kirby was running it and met him later while ferreting at Harmby just outside Leyburn :thumbs:Wendy Bell married the local bobby and also lived in Harmby Interesting the mention of Brian Nuttall as at that time he was a grousemoor keeper at Jer

  15. To be honest I hav`nt got round to attaching them to my nets yet, although I must admit I would prefer to use purse nets if all the holes are easily accessible. I get frustrated when I see rabbits bolt and nip into the next hole rather than run into the long net, each time I think to myself I would have had that if there was a purse net on.Maybe its because theyve seen me or the long net is set too close and think better of it and just nip in the next hole. I tend to use long nets in bad places where I cant or its to much hastle to get in. Never had the opportunity for a good place to set long

  23. Personally I'd rather have them locked for say 24hrs and then deleted if a member contributes to a post goes out and comes back in to find the post has been deleted there is no way he can read what was added to the post and by who? A member can post, regret whats been said hit the report button and voila post deleted Y.I.S Leeview
  24. Why are some post deleted and others locked? whats the criterion for mods to decide? Y.I.S Leeview
