  10. Anyone have any idea how long it takes for a dead rabbit to go off/decay underground? Consider the Victorians used to keep ice underground for anything up to 8months, no refrigerators to make the ice it was all naturally frozen in winter and stored in purpose built underground stores and used during the Summer. Last season the crop crew were ferreting in that cold/freezing spell and dug down to 2 ferrets one was frozen and had died the other was saved by one of the lads putting the ferret inside his shirt till he got home. 14. Do you mean working? I have a jill at present and have one in the past neither would tolerate another ferret being to ground along side them hobs or jills she would fight and drive them out of a warren and then continue to work alone with success the present jill was good enough to breed from and had only 2 jills (she was 6yrs old when bred) a kitt(now 3yrs old) is still with her in the hutch and will work alongside her mother in a warren, but the mother still wont tolerate any other ferret to ground So my honest answer based on experience is no you wont change her if shes as good as you

  21. On facebook you posted symptons of what to look for in CD. that ferret has neither matted eyes or a mucus discharge from its nose, put up the link to this diagnose for all to see Y.I.S Leeview Ok I'll give you the benefit of doubt over education and experience So you posted that the ferret in the picture was diagnosed with CDV I doubted it as its not showing the typical signs you mention ie matted eyes and runny nose So this is where the education comes in Where was it diagnosed and by which vet? Straight question no waffling you posted it had been diagnosed ? or once again not
