  1. no offence but if I was a farmer and had been for years, it would really get on my tits if a lad arrived at my door telling me that my stock was underweight! But if it's worked for you then nice one! Your obviously not a farmer then made him think and I followed up with "I dont know whos clearing your rabbits but they're not doing a right good job are they" turned out nobody had permission but I had before I left Just outside Leyburn North Yorks Y.I.S Leeview
  2. OK Kay some fair points, as for the ferrets being in a shaded area in the garden they will still be able to tell daylight from darkness even in the shade Y.I.S Leeview
  3. Tell him his stock looks underweight and could it be because all the rabbits are eating their grass I kid you not its worked for me up in the dales Y.I.S Leeview
  4. Yes, the results would conclusively show that a jill left in season has ill effects on her health. With any illness, disease or condition, certain abnormalites and/or clinical signs are presented, these are then confirmed via the relevant methods, and the appropriate treatment given at that time. The extent of test/examination findings of a jill left in season would depend on how long she has been left in that state. The blood sample analysis of a jill left in season would highlight corresponding abnormal cell counts, thus confirming clinical symptoms and the condition presented. The cell coun

  6. this is the only pic i have of the dam as she dont belong to me. she is the dog on the right theres been several replies saying how good these dogs are catching 60 rabbits between them in a night Who caught the other rabbits to the left of the dogs? Y.I.S Leeview
  7. Out of season is of no use apart from a 'control' blood sample. OK another one of your theories their blood count is only affected while they're in season and returns to normal levels miracuriously as soon as they come out of season in their own time Y.I.S Leeview
  8. They're not long out of season put the money up and I'll have them tested Y.I.S Leeview
  9. Very simple, you stated leaving jills in season has no ill effects, I stated if that is true, would you have you jills tested to prove your opinion right, you agreed, I stated that if you are right, I'd pay. As you are so convinced you would be right, then why would you have to pay a penny? Seems you have no conviction behind your theory.... Ultimately you have been asked to prove you are right, and you won't back it up, just bitch about money. All talk and no trousers... If you are prepared to justify your opinions, then pm me, as I requested before. Will not pm you, keep it here for all
  10. Not a problem doing these burrows after 2 weeks the manufactureres reccommendation is the gas is only lethal for 48hrs after application Y.I.S Leeview

  13. So you aren't willing to put your money where you mouth is then? NO intention of paying a penny You asked if I would be willing to have my ferrets tested I answered YES without reservation but you pay for the tests doing I doubt you will put your money where your mouth is though because every topic you comment on about ferrets you make an idiot of yourself with stupid replies Y.I.S Leeview
  14. Well the same as many members on here but ferret100 wants blood tests doing to prove shes right and everyone else is wrong Have a good season YI.S Leeview Just looking forward to you putting your money where your mouth is. We have a syndicate going... You want the tests doing your paying Y.I.S Leeview I'll pay if you are right.....but I severely doubt I'll be out of pocket. If you are serious about proving a jill left in season has no consequences, then PM me to sort the details out. I'll have to try that on the Euro lottery I wont pay till I know the numbers
  15. hold the ferret in one hand, its front legs between your first and second finger its body is suspended below your hand now gently swing its back end round and round Y.I.S Leeview

  17. Just a point here not all landowners have sporting rights over their own land A few farms in the dales that we rabbit on dont own the sporting rights but can give permission to take rabbit only. One of the farms sold a few fields with a barn on it, the chap who's bought it ha dammed streams and made flight ponds for the ducks and geese which breed out on the moor, he's advertising the shooting to let to an internet syndicate and has been brought down through his deeds to the land only allowing 1 named person to control rabbits Y.I.S Leeview

  21. OLD NEWS You said it was the way to go now there are risks? I dont recall any swelling from injections I've had So I and other experienced members leave their jills in season with no problems or ill side effects you reckon on what you've heard or read that jill jabs, vasectomised hob are your choice BUT THEY HAVE THEIR PROBLEMS I think I'll stick with experience as it has nt caused me any problems at all Y.I.S Leeview
  22. Well Rake Aboot your the only member thats put his hand up and said you've lost a jill in season. Happyferret(page1) on the other hand knows someone down her road who loses them regularly due to the poor conditions he keeps them in, to myself thats not conclusive the deaths were caused by them being left in season While several experienced members leave their bionic jills in season and have done for many years with no adverse signs or reactions or deaths Y.I.S Leeview This is nonsense. Leaving a jill in season is not acceptable and unless somehow your jills are biologically different fr
  23. LV, Eng FT Ch Haulstone Larry won the IGL ( UK ) Retriever Championship in 1937 running as a golden retriever. His Grandmother Lizzie was registered with the KC as ( retriever interbred) ; His great grandmother was Haulstone Jenny ( Retriever Interbred) and his gggrandfather was Eng FT Ch Laylers Defender ( Labrador). And his owner was not viewed as a cheat by either the Kennel Club or his fellow competitors AND people did purchase pups from him as his lines are still carried through to today. And if you looked at photographs of him - you would say he was a golden retriever. Now if the K
