Bloody nice they are there's a feeding station in galloway with about 50 odd but they're all tagged on each wing, apparently they do that with all the breeding pairs up there.

With the average fox weighing in at between 15-25lbs it should be no match for an average sized lurcher that will be twice the weight and size. Obviously you are not going to run a corgi sized dog on a fox. Maybe in a terrier situation underground with a young inexperienced dog but in a straight set too my money would always on the dog. Mind you I've seen the damage a fox can do bite wise as I'm sure a lot of the lurcher guys could testify back in the day. If you lost a running dog to a fox it's probably done you a favour in the long run and saved you the price of a cartridge.

What are you saying, your not a good dog man? I work seven days a week, but I live where I work and there is enough gear around here to keep my dogs busy. So where do I fall in the working or nonworking dog men? But I fully understand what you mean, it's all about having the time. No it's about making the time......I work full time never stopped me going out at night.....only downside was I could only get during the day at the weekends.....all my holidays were tailored around the winter months. So no you don't have to be unemployed to have good dogs

If your dogs had more speed and brains they wouldn't have to hit the hedge. My 2 both go into the hedge but not full force and I'm glad for it. I've had a few injuries and if I had my choice I'd prefer they let it be and move on to the next one. No quarry is worth a dead or injured dog. agree 100%, there's no need for PTS crap or thick dogs round here the land sorts them out just fine. had to retire my old boy after moving here for that exact reason round here he wouldn't of been dying from old age that I know for sure Thats right mate if people brought there do or die dogs round her

Try and compare like for like with the second hand dealers you get online and then set your self a price. I dont use cannon but good glass tends to pretty much hold its value if its in good nick. Good luck
