  1. Double up there given law.... Not in the singles there not.
  2. Just look at the the 2 dogs in the forley final. Granted there would have been kick ups in there, but neither one missed a hare through the whole comp.
  3. There is more to catching hares than running all day
  4. That's a powerful picture chalky. Was one of the parents a half x? , on the bull side?
  5. Just to add though, injurys aside, lamping I feel gives the dog plenty of fur in his mouth....which can only benefit the dog IMO.
  6. I lamp my coursing bred dogs, as I love lamping...and I'm not a match man. But if your into your matches beware of the risks involved. I've lost count of the times I've missed a Saturday's coursing because I've injured my dog lamping. If you lamp regular you will pick up injuries no question about it. Me personally have lost 2 to fatal collisions and numerous knocked feet and necks/shoulders. Not to mention the odd bite through the foot (pre ban), all on the lamp.
  7. Check out choco's posts. Or it might be coco...
  8. Good going mate, what's your total tally this season?
  9. Depends how there bred mate. All you've put is bull grey, without any %. For example, when you put bull/grey x collie/grey...that could be a 1/4 bull greyhound or a 3/4 bull greyhound. Same on the deerhound side. So you could have parents which are 1/8 bull or 5/8 bull. Nothing is straight cut mate.
  10. I wonder if he is related to paddy, who won big brother as they have the same last name.?
  11. It's not on till next month. I watch it on espn. I've been waiting for this fight ever since Cheal sunnen said," if my name even comes out of bisping mouth.....I'll drop him where he stands" lol
  12. I hate gypsies...... But boy, could they fight!!
  13. Don't listen to wet end. Most people stop in march as most quarry start to breed then and it's not much sport killing pregnant and young animals. Also in the summer the ground is too hard and in a lot a places the crops are up. Sept is when I start again but each to there own on that one, depending on where you live and quarry you hunt.
  14. I've just heard that bisping is fighting Cheal Sunnen in his next fight after Mark Munose pulled out. Now I know he is British, but I think he is arogernt and and a poor looser, storming off out off the cage when ever he gets beat. Well I think bisping will get the beating of his life, not a one punch knock out like Hendo did but 3 or 4 rounds of hurt. My prediction is either submission or stopped by cuts! What do all you other UFC fans think??
  15. I could see the advantage of a rough coat. It might have a better nose and more stamina too, who knows?
  16. Sounds like we need to bring a few over.... They look like they would improve some of our bloodlines over here. And seeing as Spain is a lot closer than the Arab states it would probally be easier than getting a saluki from over there.
  17. It's amazing that ward or gatti never got seriously hurt after that fight!!
  18. Big licks, what I'm saying is a coursing dog normally catches more than he misses. There for the dog is better. Some hares are strong and beat the dog dog but in general a hare dog will kill a hare.
  19. Catcher you wake up mate. You must not of seen a good dog behind a hare. I've seen my fare share so can pass comment. More hares get caught than escape when your running good dogs.
  20. My old dog is off ginger. He has been one hell of a dog in his day. He not out of Luke lines though.
  21. Granted you do get some exceptional hares, especially if the hare as been ran before,.but a good dog will kill a lot more than escapes. If it dosnt then your dog ain't good enough. I'm taking about hare dogs here and not some general lurcher x.
