    Goldens

I don't mind sharing these photos. Do many others keep Ornamental birds? Not asking for photos just sheer interest. This cock bird is in his second year, and is my first that I have bred that threw a decent colour of his breed.
  2. Any dog with saluki, deerhound and smidgen of bull should suffice.
  3. Well, got to admit, this bread is Mm Mmm Mmmmmmm...

  4. I haven't read this whole thread, but of recent this quote made me chuckle: "I don't believe there's many, if any that will hit the cover with the grit and determination of a bullx"
  5. You spat your dummy out chap
  6. Thanks for all your comments. Ater a week of viewing, reading, asking lots of questions and speaking to people with stoves, I have finally chosen one, and work will be underway this weekend by a registered Hetas fitter. I'll put the finished product on here once it's been fitted.
  7. Right then, fingers crossed this new bread maker will not blow!

  9. It's natural instinct in the individual dog. Some will some wont. Does it depend on the drive in the dog? I cringe at times when they commit and everything is crossed
  10. Lovely whippet x Bull clipper
  11. Foggy, thank you for the website looks very good Well I've just had the compression test and it's passed. I've gone stove blind due to looking at so many. I have narrowed it down to Stovax Huntingdon 25, Town & Country, Aga The little Thurlow, The little Wenlock and Clearview, however they are not Cast Iron and I'm still unsure wheather to go for steel or cast iron.

    Bulbs

Just a quick one, how many use 100w bulb in their 170 lamps? I have the variable model. Any problems with this bulb melting the plastic? Cheers.
  13. Oh dear........ A blast from the past here.
  14. Wilf, you must be the coolest 60yr old. Great taste in music.
  15. You will get many opinions here. I would just say wait till the dog is fully grown. I didn't start mine to jump till 11months. No rushy rushy
  16. I go beating with mine, and rough shoot with them too.
  17. Seen a fair few of these shipped over the world for serious work, they are not needed here, they have alot of potential which isn't suited here in UK.
  18. I'm sure the police have dedicated officers that only deal day in day out with internet crime only.
  19. I have had over 5 quotes Mrs T, they have all said that it's safer to have one fitted. If the your chimney is sound, and it's been tested for any leaks and passes, then REALLY there is no need in having a liner fitted, but if I'm going to spend ££ on a stove then you might as well go the full hog. Make sure they cap the chimney breast on the roof before starting the smoke test. There are people out there that do not warm the chimney breast up first, and shove a smoke bomb in the bottom and say "Yeah it's passed"
  20. It's an upward struggle these stoves! Just got back in from attending 3 showrooms. There is debate about Steel Plated being better than Cast Iron and vice versa. It's hard to weigh up! What do you have and can anyone shed anymore light into this not coming from a sales background to make a sale?
  21. Ain't it great to not be at work!

  22. All this sarcasm towards Duckwing makes me laugh Duckwing is straight down the line, always willing to help and advise people, something that you hardly get in the poultry world because alot are up their own arses. Good luck with selling those Hitches, however you need to except good and bad criticism from potential buyers/members and maybe try and improve your product if you feel the need to.
  23. My understanding is that if you have a smoke test and passes, then there is no need for a liner. Not sure how long this regulation is in place?
