  1. I have a saluki cross to share my 99 flakes with me, and I have a deerhound cross to share my coco pops with me each morning. Mmmmm, we both enjoy that milk when it turns choclatey. He makes a lovely pre wash! Simo, I think you need to be a little more precise ......
  2. Fresh water daily, beds hoovered (Pet vax) and washed once a week.
  3. I'm out of the loop over here...what are these deer books you're referring to Artic? I dont think you are Stabs There are too many to mention, Ferny Wood, Kia A Personal View, Among the deer, memoirs of William Collie, not to mention the endless stalking and management books.
  4. "Miles from home without good reason" "No written permission" "I'm only after rabbits" well theres a significant statement....... I'm miles from home, and I have no written permission, and I'm only after rabbits!
  5. Books are ok, you have a good read in bed or on the sofa, see some photos, however you can you really learn from them? Publishing books these days is very easy and cheap to do, (If you have the time to do it) Printers will give you a very good price and there are many good small fry companys around willing to take you on for a decent price. There are way too many hunting books out now, everyone is on the band wagon. I'm yet to see a decent book that doesn't repeat itself. How many ferreting books, lurcher books, and god knows how many deer books there are! I like a book well written,

    DEAR BOGGER

Dear Bogger, please please please help me. I have this problem where I have an enourmous mouth on social web sites, I have lots of confidence, well behind a screen mostly, however when I actually meet people I become very shy, I begin to shake, and my palms get really sweaty. Everytime I try to speak nothing comes out. No matter how hard I try I just cannot do it. Very recently I was in my local shop, the lady behind the counter asked me what I would like. I couldn't say a word, my mouth was slightly ajar, but I couldn't speak. I went all shy, and gooey, my left leg began to violently

    Goldens

I run 3 hens with a cock bird, as you know they will keep treading the same hen and could kill her if alone. Yes he's got some deep colours, looks great with the sun on him. Be nice to see your yellows.

    DEAR BOGGER

Bogger, you after some attention again? I'll give you some...... I was walking my dogs this afternoon, I decided to take a short cut through the park. Both of my dogs stopped by the swings and proceeded to urinate on the seats. Why?

I like the Yellows Match. Did she lay 11 and then began to lay? The reason I ask is each of my hens lay endless amounts of eggs inbetween the laying months. I couldn't keep up with them!
  14. These two sisters will be kept very busy this year.

Never seen a Phantam Lab, your right, hens are not really reliable, I tend to place a clutch under my Goldtops or other broodies available at the time. I've had 2 pheasant hens sit out their broods, but these were in very large pens, lots of cover, and not knowing they had young untill I saw them one morning with the hen feeding.

    Goldens

There are many people who will cross the golden with the Lady Amherst, however the colour of legs and eyes are the give away...there are many others to look out for. Not had a Golden that was not fertile, I find that most Goldens are VERY fertile. When you say "They Never" do you mean the hen not sitting on eggs, or the eggs were candled and showing not fertile? The eggs weren't fertile but the hen never sat for very long either. I was given the pair so I don't even know how old they were: I was told they were young, but who knows. I'm no expert on pheasants, but the cock bird
