  3. There really is no exact make up of the breed, many would like to know, however there are many theories of different blood introduced to make the breed. They're a great small bird to keep, very alert....

You can do both....write books and getting out there living your life. I must agree most books have been pictures, but picture books do sell more than fiction. If a book is soley about you, your own experiences, then no doubt that book will take some time to write. If you have friends to chip in with some fiction then a book can be put together very quickly. As for all this stolen, grassing, and whatever else has happened.... really lads....it's fecking funny reading
  8. I totally agree DW, very much so.
  9. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinions, it's very obvious that some decide to write off certain people just because of their gender. How stupid is that! As for the CMW, I think all has been said about it, but that mag is here to stay and there will always be people who will buy it for one reason or another.
  10. If you can do better then jog on.... Then I suppose she's female so she must be talking out of her fanjeeta!
  11. Jasper, OEG is Old English Game you nob Thank you for the advice and comments. These are little crackers for now.... I'll see what they turn out like at a later date.
  12. Penny has written a very good book which can be used at anytime of the year for reference as and when needed. Many books once read are put on the shelf to collect dust, this one wont espeacially if you work your dogs. I can relate to much of what is written in her book, but there are many methods mentioned that I will now practice that I never knew of if needed. The book certainly makes you become more aware of what to look for in your dog, and how to deal with the situation. There's no waffling and the text written is of good quality and to a style that any reader will understand. As for
  13. And 70 odd thousand words to go with it  Phew!
  14. That's a lovely type there. So whats really wrong with him? He looks well for a 6yr old.
  15. Wrong, you will always need to justify. My advice would be, only carry a blade/bladed article if you really need to, i.e if going fishing /hunting ect, then leave it at home.
  16. swop you a roof for it Listen hop along The price I get for that picture album I will be able to buy 4 penthouse chicken coops with runs and roofs attached!
  17. The mods must know if he starts up under another name. He is one of the most horrible wa#kers I have ever come into contact with. A cu#t of a man. THis could be such agood site but he have ruined thread after thread. For god sake keep him off this time. I want to pass comment and learn from others not put up with his drival. Mark
  18. This is a good question. I like the dogs in general for their temperaments, their looks, their history and their natural skill to hunt. What other type of dog can bring so much food to the table, and what other type of dog can sneakily rob food from cubboards and tables will panache! Then comes the meeting of others with the same types of dogs and working them together seeing different styles of stealth and running from each dog. And lastly to see how crap some people are at trying to keep the beam fixed firmly on the prey.....
  19. It's a lovely book to show friends and family. So far mine has travelled with me to 4 different countrys. My other copy is up for sale.
  20. Cheers Slay3r, she has. This was her second brood. Believe it or not I have treated her prior to her sitting for scaly leg, and it's took 3 months to get to that state, she was much much worse. This goldtop with 4 others were given to me as the last owners were pretty poor at keeping hens. Good broodies.
  21. Bog standard lab Artic. They might not be as fashionable as some of the continental breeds have become these last 5-6 years but they have always done the business when called for. Looks like some crossed up brindle mongrel that folks call a plott
