Yes Bedly there is alot of wasted space on the floor and i'm going to furnish the floor with branches and logs to allow them to climb. The one thing that ive got to be careful with is that they can't fall from too high up because it is 6ft at the lowest point

Its bigger than mine too... Its approx 6.5m square the shed is approx 8ft x 6ft. Most of the materials come off of the building site i work on so it was very cheap to make.

Lead is an accumulative poison so the more you feed them the greater the chances of liver/kidney failure, and because lead is a heavy metal it wont get flushed out by the bodies defenses.

This story starts in late December when my father in law, a friend and myself ferreted a long bank full of brambles and tree roots. It was impossible to net up so we had 2 100yd longnets on the bottom and shotgun on the top. While we were setting up it was noticed that one of the ferret boxes had come unfastened and that the ferets were running free. There were 3 ferrets in it but we could only find 2. We hunted high and low but could not find it anywhere so we assumed that the ferret had gone to ground down one of the numerous holes and that it would surface later. To cut a long story short

a variety his always better to take when you going ferreting ,especialy if you going on new ground,has for material, nylon works well on flat ground for me, and hemp for working on bankings etc has they easier to untangle :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up: Hey Salter do the pheasants live in burrows up your way mate......Nice bag

Im just in the process of making a larger run for mine. It's 6.5m x 7m and has an8ft x 6ft x 7ft house for them and it will also have a small area into my shed. There is going to be some smaller hutches on another wall for when the jills give birth. I will post some pics over the next few days.

Try different pellets as well. Some air rifles dont like some types of pellets.

Same in Bedford during the summer loads of bunies but it also gave perfect breeding for mixy result less bunnies during winter

Devvo make sure they are hanging and not in a pile because they will heat up and start to turn the meat if they are in a pile
