    true that, greyhounds and whippets have plenty of it, had drop of pit to either of this 2 breeds , then you get both drive/ guts in these 2 type xs, and bit of brain pits are not thick, a loyal/determined dog . ive seen a none ped male whippet go up and over a 8ft wall , it seen a bloody cat and went after it, the dog was only 22in , feck knows it got up there , some of them none ped males down the track were fiery buggers only 30-32 lb ,a fox, cat they pile in to it lol, greyhounds just as bad when there blood up , and bloody strong with it .

    why not get springer spaniel , they great bushing/beating dog, they work rough/thick brambles, go in water if need be, can work with gun, or lurchers . ive seen some crackers over the years , when i used to go beating, cockers are good dog as well, i but i think give bit more with its size , if it bumped into a charlie , they strong tough dog, and to big to go to ground , some of the buggers will try though lol. i never understood why to x them being honest , as they can do the lot impure form , and there some good working lines out there to get good pup, and like all good working dogs

    spot on , i helped the landlord out few times at new year's eve couple times, got few quid and had drink with the staff when we closed the pub after, but when your sober your self and dealing with pissed up men and women , you can deal with it far better than he did . he should just restrained her and told her friends to take her away from there . hitting pissed up people easy , when you sober , your reflexes good + agility, and you should have some strength and be fit to do job like that . would he have been so keen to hit a 15-16st pissed up bloke , but same thing

    thats a fair point that its always a gamble what a pup will turn out like with 4-5 different breeds in the mix , even with 2nd gen 1xs , you get a bit of variation in size/temp and that just 2 breeds , just the same as 3/8 5/8 xs , both type % i like in a lurcher, and what i look for if i wanted another type x

    200lb big nasty old boar , will sort any dog out, the dog would have to go for nose or ear , or other wise , it fooked if tried to grab any where else , they got short legs and tough bloody hide , they wreak a dog . even a 100 lb boar as very strong animal , so as real test of guts etc , a wild boar deff , but you have bring dogs up on them , in the 1st place .     All teeth and no bark, unless I hold her back and make her watch, and then she barks, wanting to get in on the action. The first hunt she went on I was hunting with some friends and their terriers. I held her back and made her watch them make a couple kills, to build up her adrenaline, and make her want it more. Then at the end of the night I let her on one that two terriers had stretched, that way she got to experience some positive coon hunting, without getting bit her first time.     that's it mate old experience v strong youth , you might be right , and Wlad takes AJ out in the late rounds, if AJ runs out of steam , but like said if they got AJ to pace him self , and use alot of body shots on Wlad , old age will deff feel them , and once the arms drop down, Aj will KO him thats what i think should happen, but with to 17st men hitting each other anything can happen .

    fair point , as you say he lost his last fight, so this could be his last big payday . But i think if AJ dont run out of steam, as klitschko will prob hold /drain AJ in alot of rounds looking for a win on points, but i believe AJ trainers will know this , and get AJ to knock him out early the better maybe round 5-6 deff

    that's a fair point phil, taking a man down is easy really for a -100lb committed dog , but like you say 1/2 ton of hoof ,different ball game .And in fact even a animal as small as 14-20lb fox , once a dog been bitten few times from old charlie , it surprising how many dogs big /small dont fancy that job to often lol , it like you get some dogs would rip to pieces if you went on there property, or want to fight every dog it meets, but put that same dog up against a 18 lb fox , or a big stag that dont want play tick no more , you see how tough that dog is then lol , alot are

    +2 , got me son and his wife and little woody lol over for dinner , my wife cooking nice size turkey and little joint of pork with all the trimmings , it smells bloody great , my dogs Bryn and Buck going to have great dinner to night with veg and gravy from to days meal my son give me 4 cans of carling larger , and wife give me big easter egg , so looking like nice day, already been out earlier for a mooch with my dogs , was doing some sheep training with good size lock with lot of lambs ,both dogs were very good , all off lead walking to heal , even with few lambs

    seen few others Wilf, on the Oz sites , and got a pal who in Hawaii , and he uses bull dog x hound type , dog had abd that were good at this quarry.But even him who does it all the time, the amount of dogs that dont get head/ear that get hurt going in any where else but the head, alot dont fancy it again and just used a baling dog . he said wild big boar is prob one of the hardest test of quarry for any dog . here is type of dogs he uses

    they will no prob mate, i had 1/4 pit 3/4 grey of joe smith stuff, he catch rabbits no prob, he was good dog . same as them 2nd gen 1x bull x greys , they were good dogs as well . i just think a whippet x pit 2nd gen 1x , would make great little knock about dog for mooching and bit of lamping, if ever get another lurcher it would be that . deff

    yeh , ive seen over the years some bull x greys bred that way , and not over big and quite fast dogs , they were 2nd gen 1x bull x greys , if you could get that % with a bull x whippet, be spot on, i deff have one, but but lads to day just use greys to bull, not to whippets , so be hard to get this type x in a bull x whippet , but as they say you never know whats around the corner .?

    had both xs , and wouldn't have either again. If you want drive and bit of guts in your lurcher, a bull or wheaten , will give this deff . And bull xs are not hard to train, pits are not thick, they like to please there owners , i had bitch was easy to train . and not all bull xs are big dogs there few about not to big, and most wheaten xs are not to big either. If you fancied a herding type , and dont want all the collie traits , then i go for a kelpie x , they give plenty of drive and tough type dog .
