    Just wondering if anyone can recomend a good mixer,normally feed the dogs,terriers,minced chicken or minced beef and have been using a complete meal as a mixer but think its a bit to much so what would be the best to use.

    All depends on type of sand,ive dug in what i would call good sand that you can get a shovel full out and get to dog in no time,but have tried digging in running sand,without knowing the earth and wouldnt drop a dog back in there,like already been said its hard to say without looking at earth.

    A clock or radio is a good idea,also has it got anything to beat the boredom in a kennel,pups tend to busy themselves with each other,sometimes a few daft chewing toys helps.

    I was just looking at one of them in the bushwear catalogue,was going to get one for when out with terriers but if you sweat a lot dont think ill bother.Does anybody know of any other good waterproof smocks with good breathability.

    I cant see anything wrong with the dog at all,if your digging to it what difference does it make that it wont rag a carcass,ive seen shit dogs that would rag a one all day but wouldnt work,so it dosnt prove nothing.

    I used to use frontline,but had a bitch that would always get ticks so tried advantix from the vets done the job on all the dogs.

    Didn,t have a problem with fibre glass till the handle came off during a dig with no other shovel there so full metal shaft and handle with kicking guard on edge,good boots don,t come cheap.
