  1. this one gets the odd few on the lamp shes mainly terrier
  2. what do you feed him on, some of the cheaper dry foods contain a lot of cheap fillers and not that much meat and can make a dog bloated...if feed iams or good quaility greyhound foods the dog needs less at a feeding and should have smaller stools and not go so often... lurcher types tend to have smaller stomach capacity and s###t a lot more often than some other breeds .. prehaps small meals spread out a bit more often might do the trick jmo cheers
  3. the peeing is prob out of habbit more than needing to go could try putting him in a dog crate overnight unlikly to foul on his own bedding let out first thing cheers
  4. hello mate has his s##t ever been firm he could be intolerant to the food your feeding him
  5. try not to chop and change his diet at this stage keep to one food a good shit should be firm.. colitis if thats what it is is not helped with a change in diet ..all the best

  8. you wont go wrong with simon mate, he diagnosed my whippet dog for a wrist injury a few years ago with an xray and good advice to getting him right again and i think i paid less than 5o quid ... he also has a practice off the track somewhere but like you i visited him at the track to keep the cost down he comes highly recomended cheers and all the best with your dog
  9. remember a dog cant choose its owner with all his/her issues lack of understanding or big egos that they might have.. we owe it to are dogs to put the time and effort in or otherwise rehome them to the best home that can be found .... its easy to get into the trap of comparing others dogs or wondering if another cross or pure will catch more rabbits.... in it for the long run or or best out
  10. hello the more she goes out the more she will prob get the hang of things and learn the ways of the quarry that shes taking thats why a lot of old uns can still catch when the speeds gone years of practice brings home the bacon.. how long did it take you to learn to tie your shoe laces or learn joined up writting im still learning now lol good luck

  12. hello, you need to get out there and try him only you can answer that one.. theres no reason why he wont catch maybe not as many as some smaller dogs but who cares anway as long as your happy with him he might suprise you... enjoy your sport and have fun all the best
  13. hello manda as you may already know one of my dogs has an old injury due to jumping and that now restricts his runs on the lamp.... it sounds a sensible dog if it does everything else required of it but refuses to jump its a small sacrifice and incovenient but if hes finding other routes it might be something you could live with jus my opinion maybe i was unlucky all the best
