  4. maybe for anyone out every good night lamping or full time pest control worker then a dog from tried and tested stock would prob be the best way to go, but for jo average out a couple of nights or days a week looking for a bit of sport a rescue lurcher or pup i think should fit the bill. like has been said already a lot of how a dog shapes up can be down to its owner..if rabbits have to be cleared to keep permision then there the option to ferret, far to much presure seems to sometimes be put on are lurchers got to catch this or that instead of enjoying the dogs what ever there abilities j
  5. hello , i was out on local patch today walking the dogs and i met a lady with her two dogs, a german shepperd x belgian sheppard dog and her patterdale bitch on chatting she tells me the dog had got to the bitch and she has 6 pups at home ..has any one on here seen such a cross or shepperd x terrier? she is keeping one it will be interesting to see how they turn out..cheers
  6. just to throw a spanner in the works, a few have stated a terrier is not a true worker if he just takes rats could the same be said of a lurcher that only takes rabbits not charlie..theres a good few terriers and lurchers out there that are indifferent to take anything are they not what should be discribed as non workers..rats can and do bite back and can make a mess of dogs face as you all know not always easy targets..prehaps the all rounder is just more versatile..cheers
  7. why the F**k pinch a dog for? what kind of buzz do u get in that? when my allotment is up an my dogs are in it ill have a guard dog running loose to protect the place, hope you get the dog back soon if you dont mind me saying mate wouldnt even bother keeping yr dogs on an allotment they get pinched sooner or latter lot of people around to no your bussiness all the best hope im wrong..

  9. going to cost a lot more to raise a litter. then are you able to pay if any complications. arise then pups and dam will need quality food to raise them proper and jabs for any pups that dont sell straight away the costs go on ..if shes only just taken get her to the vets and discuss your options mate. different if you loads of good homes waiting
