  1. i'll give that ago gaz. I reckon a bunch of flowers would of been a better approach ?
  2. Anyone use or used it before? Got mine on the sensitive one at the moment and it seems pretty decent. I'm using it alongside plenty of beef mince, chicken mince, green tripe and rabbit.
  3. I was chatting to an old bloke on my mooch yesterday and he mentioned a little spot he's been walking that has got a few bunnys on. I've never walked it so told my little girl that we would check it out this morning. We got up at 7 and had a brew before loading the dogs up and heading off. It was only half an hour away. It was a nice bit of ground for bushing and the dogs were going mad as soon as we got there. My littleun kept pointing out piles of droppings and saying "there's rabbits here dad". She has seen the lurchers catch a few and seen the busher bushing but she's never s
  4. I met my missus at the works do 10 years ago. Absoloutley rat arsed, shoved my hand up her dress and got a slap for my troubles ? I was only 18, she was 29 and we didn't end up getting together for another 5 years but it was enough to start off the friendship. Place I work at now doesn't have one. Probably for the best.
  5. I think it depends on the person? My missus has got an auntie who's smoked 30 a day for 50 years. Other's would have lung cancer in half that time. Unless it's just down to luck? My nan was the healthiest person I've ever known. Didn't drink or smoke. Lived on fruit, veg, lean meat, all home cooked and mostly home grown, never processed or shop brought meals. Died at 52 with stomach cancer.
  6. Cracking read that mate. Thanks for sharing.
  7. It's nicer if you swap the drop of blackcurrant for a double port. Now that's a nice drink!
  8. When was that NL? There's not much around craven arms way now. I've been couple times this season. Lurcherlad has wiped the place. Lol.
  9. Yeh she's only 1/4 deerhound, both parents were 1/4 deerhound. She is 24".
  10. She will be 4 years old in June mate. Her sire was deer/grey X collie/grey and dam was deer/grey X whippet. She took AGES to come good. She was fairy useless as a youngster but I could see the potential and she's made a really handy bitch. No specialist at anything just an all rounder that will have a bash at everything. She's also been the easiest dog I've ever owned. Not an ounce of trouble. Easily broken to live stock, broken to cats, sleeps anywhere, obedient. Just a real easy bitch to have about. She works great with the busher...
  11. Best place for the dogs when it's cold like this. Get them out again come April when it warms up ?
  12. Anyone got one? My old mans recently had one but doesn't like it. Says its like driving a bag of nails compared to his BMW 5 Series and he's got a van for carting stuff around so I can see him letting the outlander go. I've driven it and it's a nice drive, pulls ok for the size of it and would be even better with a remap. It's the warrior spec so pretty nice inside, full leather, sat nav and a few other goodies. I might have it off him. Are the engines pretty reliable? It's done 130k. Boot is sound for the dogs. I won't be doing any off roading. Just farm tracks and gate
  13. Nothing to do with the meat for me. Although it is a much welcomed bonus and definitely tastes better than supermarket meat. I've always been a dog person. My parents had dogs when I was born and I've never been without a dog in my 28 years. Watching them work is just the icing on the cake, I can't get my head around any dog lover not letting their dog do what nature intended. Nothing worse than seeing dogs what never come off the lead.
  14. I would be up for it for the crack and if money goes to charity. Not that I've got a cat in hells chance of winning with this pair of useless f****r but still. As above its a long way to go (for some lads) for 5 rabbits, 10 would be better or a time scale like others said.
  15. So you are ok with the financial gain from killing me you just dont want the financial gain from getting me arrested.......bullshit ! You're right it's only a hypetical question .. The thing is I can't see the link between pushing the button on someone and grassing for financial gain how can you link the two . One is on someone you don't know and the other grassing would have to be on someone that you know otherwise how would you know what they've been up to to grass if that makes sense ? So no mate not bullshit lol Im not singling you out mate as i know thats how most people are.......its a
  16. I like the look of them too. Price tag isn't too bad really, I bet Hancock charges close to £400 now. Can't see why they wouldn't work. Good chance the mother is bred off working/racing stuff not too far back.
  17. Do people still venture forth in daylight hours, thats so olde school mucker. I will do as much in the day as I do at night as you know Morton you have met me ...the point I am trying to make is these chinese mad cheap LED lights are shite and for lads to not waste their money I and a few other lads bought them last season and were very disapointed in them ...Now Gaz said he was going to do a review on the LED s so I have invited him up here to do that ....then the lads can read the review and decide if they want to part with their money He's done a review. Don't think he needs to shine a la
  18. That's what needs doing mate. It would be perfect. Like you say the 120 beam is the daddy. It just needs a quick release battery. It's about a 5 minute job to swap them but not really something you can do in the field. If they can make the bottom cap clip off and the battery pack slide out it would be brilliant.
  19. I'm not sure what MIK is gonna show me up his way that I haven't seen lamping elsewhere in the country to be honest but I've said I will go and have the crack so I will.I've had my LED lamps out with you (King), Trigger 2, Hubbs, RubyJet, complete different parts of the country and never had an issue. Never felt like my lamp was inferior and wished I had a halogen. But like I say, we will soon see. If it's just a case that the land is so big where he lamps then I will come on here and say that these lamps are no good on that sort of land and with 5 mile slips. But we know that anyway and I d

  21. Well we would be doing more than just comparing lamps with a bit of luck ?
  22. Do you mean chudleys? Could be the wheat or maize causing bad skin if so.
