  1. presumption and stereotyping.............and prejudice towards a fellow and dedicated hunter your still a copper tough deal with it,unless as a fellow hunter your going to get someone off a hunting act charge?.
  2. Shame to see a copper getting some grief, unlucky pal, don't give a shite and hope they bug you as much as coppers bug most of us. :piggy: :piggy: .
  3. I have a wolfhound bitch and won't ever waste my or her time trying to breed a lurcher out of her,to big and heavy.
  4. Looks ok to me mate, has an irlam look about him and as he has a tail as well, nice sort going to work him?.
  5. Bumped up and good work ,they should be helping the common man as well as 's popstars kids or fat lady barrasters who can cook. The ban was brought about through a class war division and they seem to be doing the same, help the rich and the poor are poaching layabouts that deserve no help.
  6. Those programes did my head in as a kid, that welsh voice on ivor? and a crap programe about a fat cat and the dooo dooooo dooooo dooooooooo doooo doo of the clangers ???? what was that all about?.Give me hartly hare and finger mouse any time and even george and bungo had better personalities than bag puss.Sad loss to some folk though and not mocking the dead here.Still better than horrid henry which the kids seem to like, why do they grow up to be little buggers these days i wonder?.
  7. What lines are you wanting mate and i take it you want them to have done earth work?,but like you say most lines are diluted but there are a few dogs carrying traits from those older lines though if thats what your looking for?.If my bitch coninues to show willing with her work i shall be getting a litter out of her next year to a proven earth dog, hard work it is finding a working stud but they are there even if it meens a different line.
  8. We had a pet rabbit which caught mixi off of the wild rabbits that use to come into our garden before the dogs turned up,winter is the time when a lot of outside pets die, cold helps see them off if there ill,old or infirm in any way.
  9. Repent sinner, the angels are singing to you.
  10. Keep's site is a place where you won't see"8 pages of shite" which ain't a bad thing as it goes, although a little frustraighting at times keeping your mouth shut it has it's site rules and when you join you accept them. At times when members don't see eye to eye you can caught up in others rows, something i am gulity of myself as it goes but as i say i knew the rules and in respect of them i do keep my mouth shut and if i see something that is missleading i have learnt that sometimes it's better to keep stum .Have to say the folks on there have dogs from all camps and kennels and politics does
  11. Not really my thing and maybe talking piddle here but why not if there is already a bird population don't you control the pests that may take your birds from you?.If i was in your position i would trap and snare and fly my hawks at the crows, magpies, etc and try to raise the wild bird population,it would give you more sport fly your hawks in the summer months and help you keep your eye on things, take a bird on your trap round sort of thing.Maybe have to put a bit of extra feed down come winter but saves all the new release pens and all that do.
  12. How they bred mate?,the dog has a familiar look about him, does he have stanhill billy in him?.The bitch is a strong type as well, why will they be your last, could breed a litter to a working plummer from her maybe?,looks like your dog has done a bit as well at some time. There are good working studs out there mate, but as you have an oldish dog your'll know that politics can sometimes hamper the search but they are there mate.
  13. Have to say mine all live indoors but thats because i don't want them nicked(pikies just up the road from me and known dog thieves),there a lot more protective in the house.Saying that i have outside a acd bitch with pups and she would nail any fecker that came in,i'm keeping one of these pups and won't be letting anyone bar family members to touch it as i want to utalize the guarding instincts of the acd and make it unhandlable by others.A bit extream but next year i'm moving and there my dogs will be kenneled outside and want a bit of sound mind.Agree with your way merrihunter and isn't that
  14. Sorry Graham but they spouts about breed promotion and unity and how it's every body elses fault, what i say is true and most lads and lasses on this site will agree with me.yes unfortunatly it is about this,it's these sorts of adds that undermine the breed as a whole and show where the heart is,in the till mate. You were good friends with brian how would he of felt about the two on going plummer threads, one with a worker and full of praise for the breed or one now about £400 pups and posts putting down the breed?,sorry to ask but they name drop his name and say they carry his banner at every c
  15. Wasn't i talking pish ,seems to have been deliberatly bred from captive dingos and herding dogs.Itsozi kennels have a imformative web site.
  16. This is the sort of advert that makes the likes of myself and a lot of working plummer owners look like a bunch of c**ts,how the hell is charging that money for a pup promoting and moving the breed forward?.Ive had 5 pages of 90% positive stuff said about a plummer terrier from working lads, now close the till and do the same in breed promotion and some may think a little more of you and the plummer terrier. .
  17. Now i do go to some plummer shows and have some rosettes that this bitch has won,the reason i go is so i can meet like minded plummer owners and see how the breed is getting on.I have met some great folks who graft there plummers and will continue to visit such shows,my bitch is rose eared, wide chested and a touch pigeon toed so when i put her into a ring i don't expect anything with her.The reason i enter her into shows is so i can support the said show and make up numbers so the show is worth carrying on with, nothing more as without these shows i wouldn't be meeting other plummer owners.Ther
  18. I think the first dingo x was made by mistake maybe with a ranchers acd bitch out with him in the wilderness looking after the cattle and she came into season. The dingo smelt her and crossed her and maybe the resulting litter were of a good enough quality for other acd owners to try to do the same, saying this how many acd bitches would have been out in the bush working and comming into season throughout Austrailia and i would think this may have happened a few times and the resulting crosses being better than the original type so the breeders went down this road.Just my thoughts thats all, what
  19. Are they related say litter mates?,sounds like there packing up and as there together are feeding off each others hostility.Try introducing one of the dogs to your mates pair of dogs,do this slowly and leashed up so you can control any growls with a hard tug on the lead.Due to them being alone they won't feel so brave, but this does need to be sorted as they are allready showing you you aint the boss!.
  20. Bumped up for Blue collar to look at.
  21. pleased to hear it,surpriing what most breeds of terrier can do when entered properly, As soon as she's healed were out again checking a few more earths,Shiney mate only bet a fiver?????,you've been living in Scotland to long you tight old git .Have to say flat cap mate we've all been missing you lately STOP PRESS ***NATIONAL HEADLINES ****SHOOTERS ALL OVER THE UK**MASS MISSALINEMENT OF GUN SIGHT CONFUSES THE MEMBERS ON THL??????****.
  22. That bloke needed a medal not time although only a silver medal as he only beat that fella 20 times and only shot him twice. He needed at least 50 stripes and shooting 5 times, one for each limb and one for his balls. Good luck in getting the dogs back mate,b*st*rds.
  23. This is where it gets tricky as IMO a dog that bites the "ass" is a coward.. If they wont go head to head w/ the bull it is not confident IMO.. I lived where cattle ranching is a every day thing and have seen many dogs work cattle and this is just my thoughts... Plus when I talk Borders I am not talking soft sheep dogs I am talking "COW DOGS" used to bring in free range cattle(even then you need a BMC most of the time).. Now this may be what you are looking for a more sneeky dog I dont know that is why I asked, we use most lurcher types for yote and a ass biter will get culled quick.. Aga
  24. Heart of wales, here's a pic or three of the dam not long before she pupped.
