  1. Sorry Graham but they spouts about breed promotion and unity and how it's every body elses fault, what i say is true and most lads and lasses on this site will agree with me.yes unfortunatly it is about this,it's these sorts of adds that undermine the breed as a whole and show where the heart is,in the till mate. You were good friends with brian how would he of felt about the two on going plummer threads, one with a worker and full of praise for the breed or one now about £400 pups and posts putting down the breed?,sorry to ask but they name drop his name and say they carry his banner at every c
  2. Wasn't i talking pish ,seems to have been deliberatly bred from captive dingos and herding dogs.Itsozi kennels have a imformative web site.
  3. This is the sort of advert that makes the likes of myself and a lot of working plummer owners look like a bunch of c**ts,how the hell is charging that money for a pup promoting and moving the breed forward?.Ive had 5 pages of 90% positive stuff said about a plummer terrier from working lads, now close the till and do the same in breed promotion and some may think a little more of you and the plummer terrier. .
  4. Now i do go to some plummer shows and have some rosettes that this bitch has won,the reason i go is so i can meet like minded plummer owners and see how the breed is getting on.I have met some great folks who graft there plummers and will continue to visit such shows,my bitch is rose eared, wide chested and a touch pigeon toed so when i put her into a ring i don't expect anything with her.The reason i enter her into shows is so i can support the said show and make up numbers so the show is worth carrying on with, nothing more as without these shows i wouldn't be meeting other plummer owners.Ther
  5. I think the first dingo x was made by mistake maybe with a ranchers acd bitch out with him in the wilderness looking after the cattle and she came into season. The dingo smelt her and crossed her and maybe the resulting litter were of a good enough quality for other acd owners to try to do the same, saying this how many acd bitches would have been out in the bush working and comming into season throughout Austrailia and i would think this may have happened a few times and the resulting crosses being better than the original type so the breeders went down this road.Just my thoughts thats all, what
  6. Are they related say litter mates?,sounds like there packing up and as there together are feeding off each others hostility.Try introducing one of the dogs to your mates pair of dogs,do this slowly and leashed up so you can control any growls with a hard tug on the lead.Due to them being alone they won't feel so brave, but this does need to be sorted as they are allready showing you you aint the boss!.
  7. Bumped up for Blue collar to look at.
  8. pleased to hear it,surpriing what most breeds of terrier can do when entered properly, As soon as she's healed were out again checking a few more earths,Shiney mate only bet a fiver?????,you've been living in Scotland to long you tight old git .Have to say flat cap mate we've all been missing you lately STOP PRESS ***NATIONAL HEADLINES ****SHOOTERS ALL OVER THE UK**MASS MISSALINEMENT OF GUN SIGHT CONFUSES THE MEMBERS ON THL??????****.
  9. That bloke needed a medal not time although only a silver medal as he only beat that fella 20 times and only shot him twice. He needed at least 50 stripes and shooting 5 times, one for each limb and one for his balls. Good luck in getting the dogs back mate,b*st*rds.
  10. This is where it gets tricky as IMO a dog that bites the "ass" is a coward.. If they wont go head to head w/ the bull it is not confident IMO.. I lived where cattle ranching is a every day thing and have seen many dogs work cattle and this is just my thoughts... Plus when I talk Borders I am not talking soft sheep dogs I am talking "COW DOGS" used to bring in free range cattle(even then you need a BMC most of the time).. Now this may be what you are looking for a more sneeky dog I dont know that is why I asked, we use most lurcher types for yote and a ass biter will get culled quick.. Aga
  11. Heart of wales, here's a pic or three of the dam not long before she pupped.
  12. Good one dev,i see she getting a helping hand getting cleaned up,very neat little dogs.
  13. Oyama is the man responcible for breeding this bitch, all credit to him and his breeding working plummer terriers from fully tested stock.A humble man but he should be proud of what folks have said about his bred dog,i am to own one.
  14. Shooting ferrel pigeons for my ferrets in a large field, shot one the flock flew about 50 yrds and settled again.I loaded up the gun and as long as i hid by my leg the pigeons would stay on the ground long enough for me to get close enough for another shot.I stubbed the barrel in the dirt by accident and was breaking the gun to clean out the dirt when i stubbed my foot and pulled the trigger, well i had my little finger over the barrel end and shot it.the pellet didn't go all the way through and i couldn't prize it out so i had to go to the local hospital. The lady behind the desk asked me what i
  15. I had an old jrt who hated men in hats even me,would go mental at them.Have a acd bitch staying with me at the moment and she attacks the lawn mower or the hoover and even tried jumping up to get at the blender the other day when i was preparing her pups food.Saw a collie attack a running chainsaw once and a terrier latch onto a car wheel and get took off down the road, seen dogs go mad at hot air baloons as well.
  16. No flatcap hasn't said anything this time, but it's still early days eh.
  17. Just seen your question mate and a good one it is at that, the acd bitch which is dam to this litter isn't mine i've just been looking after her for a few months now.The owner was thinking about using her to produce a lurcher litter as he had heard a little about them,he asked on here if anyone had had experience of this cross. All repsoncess were of the positive and the people who had worked them were more than impressed with what the x can be capable of,the dam was coming out mooching about and was showing good hunting skills,a good nose and a willingness to hit cover, getting in there with the

  21. The acd x greyhound pups at 5 weeks old today. weighed them for worming today and smallest is 3 3/4 kilo's biggest 4 1/2 kilo's,little fat feckers .
  22. I know the bit of film you are on about and have also seen it on a anti site before,i think it was anti's filming it and the terrier was called out as they couldn't do what they wanted to with it whist the anti's were there.
  23. Thanks folks for the positive reply's,there's a few plummers out there doing it,more than most think .I've had a few little digs with her before Proudy,1/2 grown cub jobs and to tell you the truth she was very hard with them,i was hoping a full adult would make her hang back a bit and not mix it so much,it didn't .Still very pleased with her and she did take a bit but stuck to it,Thanks Keeps and it's all down to us educating the masses with what we know and they doubt :11: :11: .
  24. Nice one chaps, she was to ground for just over an hour and i did know the earths we were trying so i was confident in not using a locator, the fact is i had left the box on my kitchen side and would have taken up to much time to drive all the way back home to get it.But like i said we knew the earths we were trying, this bitch was worker to worker bred and is a credit to her breeder,he sometimes does a piece in the cmw with his plummers and ferrets.
  25. Had a dig with my Plummer bitch today, tried a couple of places and struck lucky on the second earth, not after falling flat on my face in gorse before hand though .She shot to ground and went to work, bit to close for her own good and when i broke through had a grip.I lifted her out and dispached the fox letting a mates bull x draw it out afterwards ,my bitch had bitten through her own lip and it took some to get it back off although she wasn't bothered by it whilst she had work to do.left the buggering camera at home so only a eod pic off a phone and a pic of her tonite at home looking a bit
