Wan***s some people are letting dogs get like that,well done for getting him back and good luck with him.Tell us who it was who let him get like that,name and shame the tosser.Little and often is the best way to get him to feed again as his stomach will have shrunk and i hope he comes good again.ps should have kicked the shite out the lad though.

morning.ooty here.what he failed to tell you was, that,his dog might hav krept down down the beam but was blinded by the lamp and didnt see the rabbit,it caught a sitter by mistake, by standing on it!!! no good putting a light on for those dogs.it blinds them,hence it had to feel its way down the lamp,cant wait to come catch some of those easy bunnies up north,

Were back and it was a draw at just a rabbit each,it's all we saw really.His dog had to go running all round a field to get hers,mine crept down the beam (although he couldn't see it he dosen't just gallop down it just creeps on my hiss)stood on it (it was in a bit of cover)and picked it up(dim useless hancocks eh!)out for the crack and had a bit of sport,thats what it's all about.Tis a nice looking dog you have there Smashy.

strong?? can hardly belive how they'r growing.nearly for weeks and there proper chunks,size of half grow rabbit,you should have one to put over one of your g,houndssure they'l be unstopable ,ill get some pics up next week,wait till you see the dog sniper was gona have,proper strong and racey looking, ive got a first bull x im going to put my grey too nice proper bull too . i gave that game up but i may have to get some of my old blood back in to these animals stick to the collie mate,my 5.8th 3.8th is a killer alright and i know his still only 14 months but,never going to have

The best bit about the "right side of the tracks" with those welsh rivers is you don't have to leave a quid when you go fishing mate.

Have seen some good fish in the town center there,have fed them bits of my lunch by the fish mongers(he'll buy different fish off you as well) but never fished for them.Brilliant post mate and have seen your you tube bits also,leave a few for us though mate lol.Makem most of the rivers are that good up that part of the world,i'm moving back asap.

As a owner and hunter of both plummers and a hancock lurcher mate i wouldn't listen to anyone,if you have fun who gives a toss what others say.I have great sport with my lot on all sorts of quarry so crack on mate,if it works why not use it and bollocks to the doubters.

Lived up around pembs a few years ago and saw plenty of sea trout jumping in fishgaurd old harbour(you have to climb down the rocks on the other side to the old harbour)at dusk,also a good few at the blue lagoon off the beach up the lagoon end.Moving back to wales soon(fingers crossed) and can't wait the north sea is so crap to fish i don't go very often biggest fish i've seen caught here was a 4lb pollock and caused a crowd on the pier,used to catch them that size on a spun sandeel with the kids in pembs.Nice fish by the way mate makes me want to move even quicker.

If it works for you then alls good,i'm happy enough with mine but do wish he had a better strike but he once struck at a rabbit and came up with nettles instead so he hangs back a little at hedges.The lads who are allways slating mine are sofa hunters who's dogs sit on chains doing f**k all,dog swappers who would crap there pants if ever they had a good un in their kennels and never use it properly just sit around talking about it.Mine has had rabbit and hare and been in at the end of a dig for a quick rag,but this winter will show us both how he gets on.This i knew when i bought him that it w

My Hancock dog gets slated all the time along with my plummers but i was out with him last night and with a long eared rabbit as well as a rabbit in the bag i don't give a t**s what others say about him i have fun.If you don't like them don't have one,every breeder has produced shit and some good stuff and if you really think bitching about Hancock being a puppy farmer is the right thing then your'll be giving up big mac's,2 for a fiver chickens and all other mass produced animal produce?.Didn't think so!.

Don't think i'm having a dig here but how often would fish of that size be caught and due to this fact could stress have come into it as being fought and landed time and time again will take its toll in the end.

I have a couple of hobs that are as small as my jills(same size but slightly chunkier),but they don't allways produce small stuff.Saying that i have a tiny hob in my latest litter that i will be keeping back,the rest of the litter all jills are of a uniform size but not big though.Takes a bit of time to get a strain small and breeding true.

Ooty's collie lurcher caught a dogfish once.last time i went out to one farm ratting we caught more pigeons than rats,we were lamping them in the barns and the plummers were leaping up and catching them as they flew past.

Start with pink ones and if the rabbits complane then change to a different colour,all the rabbit could see is a siloette of the net as the colour won't show from a dark hole.Try it with a bit of drain pipe with a net on the end look up it,see you can't see the colour just the net,now put a ferret up your arse and the colour don't come into it .Bright coloured nets help you find them again mate thats all.
