Well here's my bit on the bull cross.With the way of the modern world some folks nowadays want a quick,no hassle,easy to aim dog and with the bull x this on the whole is what you get,lads can go out get a pup bring it up and when it's old enough go out point it at game and let go of the slip.This is fine but what ever happened to introducing the dog to the countryside first,field craft and both man and dog learning about both together?,this bit of lurcher work i feel(IMO) is lost to a lot of lads with the bull x.Romantic sounding it may be but true dog/man work takes time and understanding not

Cracking looking dog there dooson,yet to see a weak looking dog with this cross and your one looks full of strenght with a good head on him.Thanks for showing us your pics mate and myself am looking forward to what the future brings with this cross,good luck with with him and to all with this cross have a great season with your dogs and hope they all do well for you.

No i don't usally give either my dogs or ferrets milk and only gave them a drop mixed with a couple of eggs so i could take the pic,1/4 pint between that lot = not a lot each.

Used to live a travelling life for the best part of 20 years and have been to most parts but has to be south west wales for me,pembs and ceridigion and can't wait to move back there come spring.

I'd have the hutch down low so each can see each other on a rgular basis,even be able to sniff each other through the wire.This needs keeping an eye on in case the dog gets a bit excited,if he does rebuff him hard :realmad: .Next step would be to introduce them to each other,do this whilst handling the ferrets as the dog would be less inclined to bite with it in your hands.If the ferrets try to bite your dog then try to give them a distraction like a little milk in a dish,if you have good control over your dog the ferrets biteing the dog will be your biggest problem and this will take time to

Dam of pups,she is carrying the pups in these pics. A dog capable of ALL you say Whin is what was bred for and if anyone wonders why we used a Australian Cattle Dog then Comache and Stevemac have answered your question,why use anything else?.

You may have come back off shift artic and as you and compo seem to be the only ones in the know then as i have asked please educate us on why he was shot not 7 times as i previously stated but 9 times in the head by two people who may not have been coppers.As we can all see i have said i was only fooling with you but you seem intent on getting all serious,get a sence of humour or do you suffer from this audio/visual/humour exclusion excuse as well?. .

True whin limited but should flush or retreive most things,no hare coursers for sure but should be able to run all day or night,robustness in heaps was part of the plan mate.

These pups will have a lot of go in them when they grow up and will need to be worked,the acd is a breed that does not sit well in a kennel doing nothing.Some may think about these pups due to a novelty being a not so common cross sort of thing,when these pups will need a experenced head to get the best out of them.Loads of dogs on the merry go round due to unsutable owners,dogs doing owners heads in and vice vercer,when if they had thought about it they may have gotten a different type of dog in the first place.

Another update for those that have asked,6 weeks on thursday they were and doing well.All weened and growing fast,100% barf fed. Cute but not for the novice owner.

Got bad water works Tomo?,put on your heating on start from the nearest rad to the boiler and work down and away from up stairs,get your rad key and bleed untill a flow of water comes out,if you got air you will hear it hiss first then water will flow.
