So i'm led to belive a lot of beagles also suffer from this,big well done on sussing it and sorting it without loosing the lot mate.

I do when i'm making foxes lamp shy so the rifle boys don't get an easy shot ,but when running quarry to catch never and allways pick the slips when i do for the dogs advantage.

The requierments for docking don't say in anyway you need a gun,all you need is a letter stating you will use the dog for pest control.It does not say what pests or how you will control them,saying that i have heard of a good few vets who have stated they will only dock with a sgc or fac but thats not the legal case.Kipo did your vet put in the chip or just give it to you untill the dog is really old enough to take a chip as imo they ain't ready for a chip till towards the end of the 3 months you have to chip them after docking,the law also dosen't state the same vet has to chip it just says t

I remember some good folks on here sending me good wishes when i lost my old man a while back and time does help you live with lose and soon enough the memories of her wile bring a smile instead of the tears they may bring now and that was a very brave and thoughtfull thing to do to donate like that mate and folks like you and your mum are the everyday hero's in life .

Had one today crashing against my shed window trying to get to the birds inside ,a youngster but a spar all the same.He didn't even mind me inside as well but soon did one when i apeared outside with a broom to shoo him off,he'll be back i'm sure and next time i just hope he don't hurt himself on my very very see through cleaned windows .

Vert true smasher and that is a handy dog in any ones world,the title was just trying to sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak(and there is loads of cr*p about) and not to knock any ones dogs.No worries on the rant bit and do understand where your coming from ,FTB was going to do a ugly worker thread.

I'm sure there's plenty of bow legged russells working very well indeed and not knocking them as if it keeps the men that keep them happy then who am i to say otherwise?,i just don't like them and wanted to see pics of bitches along the stamp of what dbritt has posted which is IMO a nice working russell type bitch .

Lol,the THL hornets nest is buzzing,smasher good on you for sticking with what pleases you and works for you but that sort is not for me,it's just the last russell topic was full of bow legged,prick eared cr*p IMO and like the title says good bitch pics please but i'll sort out a pic or two of my russell dog and dog pup just for you Don as soon as i can .Thats why i'm asking BDE .

no mate,it's just a good russell type bitch seems a rare sight these days especialy in this neck of the woods and be good to see that there are good un's out there.One member on here has a belter of a bitch(dam of my latest pup)but it's not my dog to put up a pic of,hopefully he will later for us .

Now are there any good russell type bitches out there?and i'm not talking about short bow legged,snipey nosed prick eared cr*p but well put together nice strong headed/muzzeled bitches that can do a proper days graft and before anyone asks for a pic of my russell bitch i only have russell dogs(good stamps of russells though ).

I get it from a local aviary center(Morley Aviary's,in Norfolk) but i'll find out if they do mail order for you.

I get a pre mixed egg food that doesn't need wetting and it doesn't sour quickly,i pay £2 for 1/2 kg and it's the most popular egg food with local breeders.
